      I was there to deposit money and the teller told me to wait in the lobby with the rest of "them" and they were helping no one when I walked up. I proceeded to go outside and use the ATM to deposit as a separate option and the cash deposit function was unavailable. I'm not sure how an ATM attached to the bank had its cash deposit function not available, but I certainly won't find VyStar reliable any further. I'm right back to square one with looking for a simple banking option. As an added note Dec 2, 2019; more recently their drive through ATM ate my debit card... then I had to get a new one printed, because once that happens it gets shredded or taken or whatever they said. The new debit I had to wait over an hour to have printed doesnt even link to checking account. These people printed me a blank card and said have a nice day. Who lets these people work here. Dont sit there and try to sell me on a credit line for an hour when you can't even issue a working debit card. People, STOP GOING TO THIS BRANCH! THERE IS NOTHING CONVENIENT ABOUT HAVING TO GO BACK MULTIPLE TIMES OVER THE SMALLEST OF ISSUES.

      On July 10 I visited the Southside Branch. I was greeted with excellent customer service by the front desk person, Vanessa. Then I was forwarded to the Branch Manager, Aldijana Heljo. I had several issues that she was able to untangle that previous branches only gave me difficulties with. This is now my home branch and I am so thankful for these individuals.

      Received the worst customer service yesterday. Some lady visiting from another branch refused to cash my check when I go there almost every Friday. San Marco took care of me though. Maybe you guys should take some lessons in professionalism from them.

      I don't understand these negative reviews. I've banked with Vystar for well over a decade and have never had a negative experience. Their people, as well as their service, are exemplary. Their banking products are as good as any I've ever seen, and far better than any commercial bank. I would recommend them to anyone. In fact, I do!

      Locked our business account because account rep forgot to have us sign a beneficiary form. Demanded we enter a branch to sign it during the pandemic. Could have easily been done remotely.

      On the way to Jacksonville to head to baby store for last minute things my husband needed to go to his bank and I found him a location near where we were headed. I am expected to go into Labor anytime. We got to bank and he was going to go through drive through ATM to make deposit but it was out of service. So I saw they had a walk up and told him to park and use it. The branch was very busy and there were very few accessible spots. I didn't want to be so far away from him in case something happened while he used ATM. The police officer working at the bank came out and looked at our vehicle that was parked for 2 min in spot and approached the car with an attitude. There was a truck illegally parked blocking two spots and he wasn't harassing them or giving tickets. It's very appalling how this officer handled things.

      One of the few VyStar branches I will go to. Everyone here is always helpful and the only time that they are unable to help me is when there is something beyond their control (needing a new card and machine is down). Other than that this location and the Fleming island location are the best ones I’ve been to.

      I want to share what an excellent employee this Branch has. Her name is Aldijana Heljo. She's helped me twice now - on a moment's notice to resolve two loans from this branch. This is the MAIN branch I will go to. On the last one I was able to email then talk to her on Friday morning and be able to go sign loan papers at noon the same day! This refinance loan will save me a GREAT deal of interest, have the peace of mind that it'll come out of my account on a timely basis and can make 'principal pmts." as I want to pay it down sooner than schedule with no hassles. She's ALWAYS been so pleasant to talk and work with and wanted to share how much I appreciate her assistance in this and another loan instance. She's a true asset to VyStar's team of caring representatives! Julie E. Smith

      I came in to grab a receipt of a past phone transaction on Friday night. There were 3 people ahead of me, most of the staff was busy. I was approached by the supervisor, who was very defensive to all my questions in her tone & answers. I felt like after asking a question I should put on some glasses so she stops answering my questions like their completely alien. It was a receipt for Vystar's own Collections department (just not st this branch). I was told BY collections to walk in to any branch to grab a tangible receipt & proofs of payment and it was the Only way to get it. I felt like I had to pull teeth just to get the docs. She told me to sit down and somebody would be with me. I sat there for 30 minutes (20 minutes past their closing - other customers were still there too) and nobody ever came. 3 separate employees walked by - 1 was cleaning out the trash cans, 2 were walking by to ask this supervisor questions. I was not acknowledged 1 time in 30 minutes. The supervisor's desk was 10 feet away from me and she was sitting there the entire time. After those 30 minutes she came up to me and apologized, stating she thought "someone would have seen me by now" (from the transparent wall in her cubicle, she could've seen me the whole time). Only then did she come up and tell me her name and ended up being the one to help me. At the end of the day, she was able to get me what I need and didn't actually do a bad job at that point, though still not a very pleasant interaction; I would say it was a little "cold" the whole time. Due to the results, is why this wasn't a 1 star experience.
