  I will highly recommend Veteran’s United (VU) to anyone seeking a VA home loan. VU was able to provide a great rate right away that forced other lenders to be more competitive. VU employs loan officers who work hard to get your business. VU is responsive and trustworthy making the home buying process comfortable.

  I couldn’t have asked for a better loan officer. Danny took the time to explain each step and answered all of our questions, even when they were asked 3 or 4 times. Our loan had a couple of unexpected turns and some complications, but Danny went above and beyond to work with us and advocate on our behalf to get our loan closed with as little frustration as possible for us. I will be recommending Veterans United and Danny Davis for any of my friends looking to buy or refinance with a VA loan.

  I had a phenomenal experience working with Veterans United. As a veteran leaving active duty, the transition is scary and nerve-wrecking and VU & their staff helped address any concerns or worries I had. Joshua DeLeon from the San Diego VU Office was incredible, and such a pleasure to work with. VU is honestly the BEST, and I love that they take care of those who served our Country. Will ABSOLUTELY recommend to anyone I know looking for a mortgage lender.

  We have refinanced with a cash out twice and refinanced once to reduce our interest rate. Veterans United is by far the best we have used in regard to our VA loan. They always make the process so easy and are always willing to help. We would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a VA loan.

  I love the casual atmosphere and the friendliness and willingness of everyone to help with questions. The VA Home Loan seminar was fantastic and needs to be given at military training on a regular basis. Veteran's United was able to match a competitive lender's rates which saved me more money in closing costs.

  Not knowing anything about real estate or how to even begin the process, I was fortunate to have the best loan agent. Jason Gibson explained everything in detail and made everything much easier for me to understand. He is a very honest person and so trustworthy. I am so thankful for everything that he did for us.

  These guys did great work for us! We got a fantastic rate and are more than happy with our experience! Our Loan Officer, Kyle Melvin, and his team were on the ball and super easy to work with. They kept us in the loop the whole time, made sure we really understood what was going on and delivered top notch service. They truly have their clients' best interest as top priority and it shows in their work ethic. Highly recommend for any Servicemembers, past or present!

  I am very disappointed with this company. I had Allyson Metz and Clay Rose assisting me with my loan. When I first called this company, I spoke with Allyson and told her that I wanted to get an estimate for how much I qualify for before getting my credit score hit. When Allyson gave me an estimate, she was very confident that the loan amount would be around the numbers I was told, as long as my credit score was good and I have no debt. I was upfront with everything and when I finally got in contact with the company (after contacting them many times) they provided me with a loan amount much smaller than Allyson's original estimate (despite my excellent credit and lack of debt). What bothers me even more is that Allyson was avoiding my calls and that Clay Rose had to put an end to her dirty work. Allyson kept avoiding my calls and the operator eventually connected me with Clay so that I can receive the bad news. I am a reasonable person and can understand if I don't currently make enough money for a loan. However, It seems like the loan agents must get extra points for people getting their credit score hit, or else why would she give me such an inaccurate estimate and risk customer satisfaction? I have lost my trust in this company and will never do business with them!!!!!

  Hi Noneof, I am so sorry to hear your process made you feel that way and that it has caused a sense of distrust. A pre qualification is not the same as a loan approval (or preapproval). During your prequalificaiton process, we use the information provided by the applicant and based of that (as well as qualifying factors) you are able to move forward with your letter and can begin your home search. During your preappoval process our teams verify all income, assets, liabilities and prepare your file for underwriting. While credit is certainly something that will assist in getting you to or through that prequalification, things such as employment or property ownership, can change that estimate; this is meant to safeguard potential homeowners from borrowing more than one's DTI can reasonably withstand.
