  Rebecca Williams went above and beyond to help secure our conventional home loan. Buying a house in Vermont during a pandemic is already stressful enough but Rebecca was there to guide us through the entire process with patience and clear communication. She was quick to respond to my emails and questions and I felt like she really cared about my family. Highly recommend!

  My wife and I recently bought a house and used Nick as our mortgage broker. Nick, at Vermont Mortgage Company, handled everything for us and was friendly, good natured and gentle. He was wonderful at explaining every step of our mortgage process, walking us through the legal tangle of mortgages and home buying. He was very responsive to our calls and emails, and always kept us in the loop. If we were to ever need another mortgage broker in the future, we will go to Nick first.

  As a first time home-buyer I did a fair amount of shopping around for a realtor and during that quest Nick's name and VT Mortgage came up almost every time as the best to work with when securing a mortgage. After meeting Nick it was clear why. Not only did he walk me through the process clearly (in language a first time home-buyer could understand) and answer questions face-to-face, he and his team also made themselves available at all times. I appreciated Nick's willingness to provide multiple estimates at seemingly a moments notice, especially as I was buying at a time where mere hours seemed to make a huge difference. I am also thankful to his team who patiently and kindly would keep me on the ball regarding any and all paperwork that was needed. I felt very well taken care of - which was my biggest fear when making a financial decision as paramount as a new home; Nick really made it feel easy and enjoyable.   Working with Nick and Vermont Mortgage Company was an excellent experience. We were originally pre-approved and planning on financing our new home with another credit union until we were referred to Nick. After an easy pre-approval process we quickly noticed the excellent financing options and incentives that he has to offer. Nick is very responsive and easy to work with. He answered all of our questions quickly and made the entire process effortless for us. He was able to close on our loan quicker than other lenders as well which was a deciding factor in our offer being accepted. I highly recommend Nick for anyone looking for a home loan.

  Nick Parent, owner of Vermont Mortgage Company, is the absolute best. At a time when getting a mortgage can be a truly complicated process, with all kinds of new regulations and hurdles, Nick makes it a breeze. He got me a fantastic rate. He made himself readily available to answer all my questions clearly, patiently, and in language I could easily understand. He facilitated filing my application, so I had minimal work to do with that. Nick followed up promptly on all mortgage matters, he advocated on my behalf with the lender, so that I never had a second's worry about anything falling through the cracks, or not happening in a timely manner. In fact, I was able to close a week early, due to Nick's diligence. Not only did Nick always behave as a true professional, always treating me with courtesy and respect, but he's a genuine, friendly guy, a pleasure to work with.
