Joseph Dokes3I've been in this credit union 20+ years so I can't leave because it is my oldest account and my credit report would take a ding, so I keep the minimum amount in to avoid a monthly fee. But I do all my day-to-day transactions from a real bank.
Response from the ownerJoseph- We're sorry to hear that you aren't using Vantage for your daily needs. There are accounts you can have that don't incur monthly fees. If you need assistance, please let us know. Also, we truly aren't a bank—we're a credit union. While we offer the same products and services, our structure is different. Vantage is not-for-profit and owned and directed by it's 'customers' whom we refer to as members. Banks are for-profit and owned and directed by investors. Hope we're able to be of more service to you in the future!

Alex Lehman1Known for hidden fees. Be carefully even with a simple savings account they apply dormant fees. Their online banking is very dated and their customer service is mediocre at best, I’d simply invest elsewhere.
Response from the ownerAlex- Thank you for your feedback. All fees are disclosed up front to members and can be avoided. Nothing hidden. To avoid dormant fees, simply make a deposit at least once per year. We hope to have a chance to show you excellent service in the future.

David Brune2Locked out of my account after using same password and username for years. Phone help not helpful. I have to drive 80 miles roundtrip to reset my password. Poor,poor service and no solution. You get what you pay for at this credit union ...customer disservice. Savings account interest rate-0.12%...average loan rate-4.5%...use the difference to pay for customer service.
