  I was referred to Tim Hart and I could not have been more pleased with him. He helped so much while I was buying my first home. He never failed to answer any of the questions I had for him.   This was my first home buyer experience. Vandyk Mortgage did a very nice job of easing me through the process. Branch Manger, Tim Hart answered all of my questions thoroughly and in a timely manner. I felt that this was a great experience!

Home ownership is a daunting task in which having an excellent team to work with is imperative. VanDyk Mortgage is just that team!!! Tim Hart and John T. were always there to listen, as well as work for us like we were their only clients! I cannot say thank you enough!

  I have dealt with numerous mortgage companies but NO other compares to VanDyk! Communication was impeccable, unlike others, there was no mystery as to where you are in the process and what you need to do to meet underwriting guidelines. They also are efficient in the use of their web site. Uploading documents was a dream and you were able to track the receipt of those documents and the updated status of the application. The best example of wonderful service is that they not only met the requested closing date, they advanced the closing by four days at our request. That is unheard of with mortgage companies, who often delay and jeopardize the purchase of your property. There is nothing to criticize, all expectations were not only met but exceeded... such a pleasure! - Michael Leggett

  Tim Hart made my first experience buying a home and applying for a mortgage loan bearable. I was pretty green when I started the process and I was very nervous. From the very beginning, Tim guided me, helping me to determine what I could realistically afford and how I needed to improve my financial situation to achieve my goal of buying my first house. Throughout the process, I had several "freak out" moments where I did not understand documents, figures, etc., and Tim talked me through each situation. He even called me at 8 pm from home one night because he knew how confused I was about my GFE and wanted to be sure I understood it and was ok. Now that is amazing service! On the day of closing, my title company even complimented Tim and Van Dyk Mortgage, saying that most lenders with whom she works do not have complete paperwork to her in such a timely fashion. Overall, my experience with Tim Hart and Van Dyk Mortgage was incredible, and I will always recommend them to friends and family and use them in the future. Thanks, Tim! You rock!

  The staff at Tim Hart's office provided a wealth of information throughout the process however, it was never overly difficult to understand nor unreasonable. Satisfying those requests for information were spread out and never overwhelming. Really happy about the weekly telephone updates keeping us informed as we progressed through the process. That personal touch was very meaningful because we could ask questions. The entire staff was excellent.
