Lexy H1Their ATMS are awful. I’ve deposited both cash and my paychecks into their ATM and it never deposited correctly. Had to call the next day to get them to deposit my paycheck. They seemed like they were in absolutely no rush to make sure I get my money deposited. Super frustrating.

Cedric1Been a customer for 20+ years and I've never had such bad experience within the last 5 years.. unbelievable. Unexplained NSF fees and then they refund you without any reason. Miss a payment and do the payment automatically for you without permission and then mail you a letter. Take your money somewhere else...not here because they put their hands in your money way too much!!!

Willow Earth3Liked them about 10 years ago. Now they've changed way too much- this feels and acts as a bank instead of a credit union. They slowly have hiked up fees and have introduced policies that benefit the bank over the member. The customer service tellers are not knowledgeable and read from scripts. At times they just repeat the same scripted line when asked a follow up question. Now suddenly they have started to hold my deposits for longer amounts of time. I use instant cashout for doordash. Thats always meant that i pay money to have instant access to my own money. Now suddenly starting a few days ago the bank holds the money without adding the deposit to my banking records. It adds it to current amount- yet not the available funds- and is not in any way added to my banking ledger. Again. They take the money without adding it to my transactions and without giving me access to it. It is not user error as they usually try to scapegoat. It is not scheduled system maintenance. They try to say policies as justification for unusual or unexpected things- like when they hold my money for sudden unknown reasons starting this week. They shouldn't be allowed to receive someone's paycheck without at least noting it on their account. If I put my own money in my bank account and have to pay money to do it- then they can't suddenly change the way they hold my money. They're playing the banking game where they hold on to transactions to receive miniscule amounts of interest on other peoples money like big banks do. If you bring this up they look at you like you're stupid. Banks factually do this. Pending money held by a bank is no longer considered your money. The banks take time to transfer it to the other person, so they have the money in their virtual hands/accounts temporarily which earns interest. Bank tellers should be knowledgeable about how that works.

ig j1Beside email, txt and phone calls they regularly use, they were unable to contact me to update my address. Instead, they have been sneaking a $5 fee every month from a saving account that see no other traffic. I caught them in time or they would drain my inactive account into overdraft and charge another fee. UVACCU has nothing to do with COMMUNITY. Find a real bank that will have to earn your business.

Mike Kropf1Horrible customer service. Just read the other reviews. Every time I've interacted with them they have been rude, unhelpful, and act like everything is my fault. Their website is also super confusing and not intuitive at all. Steer clear!

Celia Sturman1My first and only interaction, today, with this branch of the bank, was an unmitigated disaster! Where, on earth, is your customer service?? My only task was to use an ATM to draw out some money. Where is the ATM? Couldn't locate. Went into the bank to ask and was totally ignored. Eventually a member of staff pointed to the back of the bulding. Still couldn't locate. Asked teller staff who informed me the only two ATMs are drive thru. Eventually located ATM lanes, both of which were blocked off by a Brinks truck. Again, ignored by driver of Brinks truck. Approached lady working on one of the machines asking they not block off both lanes at the same time. Needless to say she just didn't want to know. I walked to the only available ATM and withdrew my money. Was not happy!

Richard Austin1It is a real shame to see the level of customer service. I understand on any given day one might receive good service from a nice person, but on the whole they totally fail simply by default. Gotta show up to win. Answer the phone!!!!

Roy Cornwell1I was affected by an layoff from.work due to COVD-19 and I spoke to them in March 2020 regarding doing an deferment on my 2019 Dodge Grand Van loan and they granted it by the phone conversation and sent me the paperwork to my home address and I mailed it back to them with both myself and wife signatures. Well the following month, they sent me a late notice for the payment and when I called them, they completely denied ever speaking to me and ever receiving any paperwork back. A Credit Union should never operate that way. Everyone - Please be aware this could happen to you. We do not need extra added pain from.a Credit Union when you are in a job loss situation.
