  I do not have account and I’m grateful for that! After being on hold for almost 20 minutes, all I wanted to do was verify that they are a shared branch with my wonderful Delta Community Credit Union and they couldn’t even verify that! All three others that I called to verify were able to do so but not this one. Not a good way of doing business. If I had been interested in open an account it would have been a easy NO after being placed on hold that long. Phew, now I am ever grateful to my wonderful credit union who actually cares about its members and potential new members!

  One of the slowest credit unions on the planet. Sometimes they won't even answer the phone during normal business hours. Give different excuses every time you talk to them. Paid off a loan with certified check and took them 4 weeks to release the lien. They said if we would have used cash it would have been quicker. So the next one we paid off we paid in cash. So far it's been 2 weeks. Still has a lien on it. Should only take 4 days. I'm sure they'll give some phony excuse on their response but People there just need to do their JOB

  They need to provide an ATM that allows cash deposits at the Sarasota (Clark Rd) location. The main cu in Tampa (USF campus) has one, as does nearly every bank in the US. I cannot deposit cash when the bank is closed... very frustrating!

  Hi Michelle - Thank you for your feedback, and we apologize for the inconvenience. At this time, there are no immediate plans to install a cash deposit ATM at our Sarasota branch.   Been a member for about 30 years. Spoke to Adrian about cashing a two party check. She stated that the person on the check that was not me would have to be added to my account . When I asked to speak to a manager she stated none were available. I find it difficult to speak to people at my Sarasota branch, because all calls go to Tampa. I have to go to the Sarasota branch to speak with them. I guess I am happy just dealing with the atm for deposits and withdrawals most of the time.

  Dave had the same problem except we just wanted to DEPOSIT four 2nd party checks. It seems they just don't train their personal well or they just don't care. They said if all 4 people were present, 1 in Maine, 1 with a broken leg not going to get everyone together. What good is a hold on account if you can't even deposit checks.! I agree if all you want to use is the atm it's fine but so are a lot of other banks with better service.

  This place is no longer in business. This place is a waste of time and effort. Went there 2/13/17 to open an account and was told by a greeter after waiting TEN MINUTES that I needed my social security card on hand to open an account. I've NEVER had a bank ask for that. As suggested by the social security administration I keep it in a safe place at home as they advise against keeping it in your wallet. So I drive home to get my social security card and return 25 MINUTES later only to have to WAIT 35 MINUTES in their lobby for a banker. After talking to the banker I was told I'd have to update my license with my current address before they'd open an account for me, despite several other possible provable methods. I was planning on waiting to update my license when it needs to be renewed this upcoming July rather then give the state $33.50 now only to have to pay again to renew it. Wasted a hour and a half with these guys. Truelly felt like they didn't want my business. It was only minutes away from their closing time by the time I finally got service.

Later in 2017, we merged with the credit union that formerly occupied that space. We are currently in business and operating under our usual business hours.   Every time I visit the USF Federal Credit Union in Sarasota, the service is warm, relaxed, and friendly. The entire staff is professional and very knowledgeable about the products and services they offer.

  Member for over 50 years and was very happy till the last few years. Many things have changed and not for the better. I was charged fee`s ( $ 20 ) to remove IRA`S that were bought many many years ago before these fee`s were ever through of. With the low interest rate being paid on IRA`S, these fee`s wipe out what little interest you might of made. In the past I felt our CU looked out for it`s members, not anymore.

  I've banked here for 12 years never had a problem. Recently opened an account for my youngest child. Very happy with the service.

  The parking there is worst drive thru is worst too to small space they and they don't open indoors
