USAA Financial Center Reviews

John Barkowski1If there was a possibility of giving zero stars I would. USAA only cares about it's members but fails to realize that if they treated all people with the same respect as they treat their members. They forget not all military members are currently enrolled in their insurance yet they would have the chance at drawing more of military members if they could at least remember simple customer service. Steven McBride was my insurance adjuster, he is based out of San Antonio, TX if you have to deal with him, I would immediately ask for a new adjuster. Even though I have asked to speak with Mr. McBride and other representatives have put in requests for him to call me, he has not.

Kevin Rudnic1This bank has become increasingly difficult to work with. They are there for you when you want to give them money or borrow money but as soon as you have an actual issue nobody does their job. I'm not talking a double charge or an overdraft. I'm talking about lost paychecks and refusal to do right by the banking client. Maybe they are trained to act naive or ignorant, I don't know. If you can bank elsewhere you should... for convenience and peace of mind. I've removed my insurance and as soon as this issue is resolved I will be switching to Ent.

Steve Fox3Felt like I had to leave a review, USAA is a great bank don't get me wrong, but this building is not an actual bank, I got redirected to use internet services. I came because I needed to get a checking book but all they have is an atm/deposit kiosk. This is basically an office building.

Mike Casey1USAA is an awful mortgage lender. I have no idea about USAA's other services, but USAA is chronically late and poor communicators concerning the home mortgage process. I wish the military would appreciate that there are plenty of efficient lenders with better interest rates and fees than USAA.

Chaniqua Always4Great financial center. Excellent customer service! Never have a experienced anything other than exceptional service. I just wish that they had a way to do a monetary transfer via Western Union or Money Gram. Also, it wouldn't hurt to be able to withdraw from a Teller. I am without an ATM/Debit card and get get any money.

Travis Mino5USAA is the best bank I have ever used. They are always attentive, courteous, and the rates are wonderful. I have never had a negative experience with this bank. If you are on the fence, don't worry you are in good hands with USAA.

Caleb P5Great company, I've never had a major issue and the minor ones got solved quickly and completely. They treat you with kindness and respect, recommend to those who can join USAA. I only have their car insurance.

Michael n Rachel Dill5I just came in right before 1 pm closing on a Saturday to get a cashier's check, and the staff sooo helpful to me. They displayed NO dismay at all that I was another customer they'd have to serve before closing. Theresa patiently waited as I clarified the exact amount over the phone, and then issued me the check quickly and cheerfully. They even let me use the ATM on the way out. Great service!

Rick Ross1USAA is NOT about "serving". They rely on other carriers to pay their claim expense and don't pay claims. They don't do what they say they are going to do, don't follow through, and are not a good insurance company. I can't believe our military gets sucked in their line of bull. Find a real company and STAY away from USAA. Find a REAL insurance company. Don't "earn" this company (as they think they are doing you some sort of favor) it is not worth it!

Kent ADAMS1Stupid ass banking rules! It's funny, but pathetic, that USAA will accept a money transfer from another bank IMMEDIATELY, but will take until midnight the next day if you transfer from them to another bank. Also, if you do transfer from another bank, they will only let you have $200.00 and put a 3 to 7 day hold on the balance you transferred! They treat a transfer like a check even though they HAD to know the funds were in there or they would NOT have accepted the transfer. Stupid, untrusting bufoons! Even worse is when I deposited a Cashiers check for $5,659.00, they gave me $200.00 and put the rest on a 7 DAY HOLD! In this day of instant, electronic transactions, why would it take that long? After the agonizing 7 days, they sent me an email that my funds were fully available, BUT I had to drive way over to the other side of town to their financial center to get it! Now it gets EVEN WORSE.....I went there expecting to fill in a withdrawal slip and get my money, as I was buying a motorcycle which the owner would only take cash (normal procedure). The seller was already gracious enough to wait the frickin', stupid ass 7 DAYS, but I assured him I would have the cash after 7 stupid ass days. So, I went to the Financial Center and they said I had to go in this "Special Room" and wait 37 MINUTES to talk to a teller. My God, I am getting SOOOOO irritated by now! Ok, FINALLY she comes on the screen and informs me I can only get HALF of the funds, which meant I had to go out to the ATM machine and use it twice because it will only give $2,000.00 at a time! She told me I had to wait ANOTHER DAY to get the balance, BUT I had to call USAA AGAIN the next day to get authorization to withdraw the balance and could go to ANY ATM and withdraw it. SOOOOO, I went to my banks's ATM and it would only let me withdraw $1,000.00 frickin' dollars when I was told it would give it all to me. Well, needless to say, the seller of the bike wouldn't wait any longer so he sold it to someone else! That made me decide what to do next..... Are you NOW getting the feeling I'm going to close not only my bank accounts with these pathetic morons, but also my car insurance? Do you blame me? I hope these idiotic lower life forms will read this and start to think of how many GOOD, LOYAL customers like me have dropped them because of their stupid, untrusting banking rules!!! Thanks to all of those who had the patience to read this review all the way through and I hope you too will drop these Neanderthals as I am doing. Kent Adams
