  I had a great experience working with Barb. I was working with a different broker and started getting the feeling I wasn't getting the full story but I called Barb and she was super clear, open, and honest and had a great loan package to offer. She wasn't pushy at all and walked me through the whole process and answered all of my questions clearly and completely, I'm so glad I decided to switch to work with Barb! I highly recommend you give her a call!

  As first time home buyers, we entered this process a bit uninformed. With the help of Jason and team, we got an amazingly low rate (lower than the lender we initially worked with) and feel much more informed about the home buying process. We will continue to be in touch with Uptown for any questions we have in the future and know they will provide the best insight! We were referred to Jason by our realtor, Mike Turano.

  Jason and his "team" including Vanessa, Nicole and others were wonderful to work with. I was very impressed that the process was so smooth all the way through closing. Uptown Mortgage invests much time and effort on the "front end" making sue that all documents are in completely prior to submitting to the lender. The lender had absolutely nothing to add or ask for.   Jason Henkel from Uptown Mortgage , was the third lender I approached regarding getting a loan for my new home. The previous two I briefly had to deal with, could not give me an estimate of how much my share of the closing cost would be, and were difficult to get a hold of. Jason and his team, made the whole process super easy, and were always available to answer questions, even on the weekends.

  Blindsided by a last minute, ridiculous fee with the mortgage company we were using at the time, we took the advice of a friend, and called Jason Henkel. Within a half an hour Jason was not only able to get us the rate & terms we *thought* we were getting with the other, his rate & terms were BETTER! Additionally, in ONE day, he was able to accomplish more than the other had in over 30 days. He was in touch with our Transaction Broker that evening, secured and scheduled with a home inspection company - our inspection was the day after! I could go on and on... Buying a house, no matter how many times you've been through the process is stressful. This is our third rodeo! I can honestly say Jason and his team made this process much less stressful - seamless even. ***Oh, most importantly in our situation, time frame - application to closing in less than 14 days.*** Once we were in Jason's hands, it was smooth sailing even given the time crunch. I can't thank him , recommend, or sing his praises enough!

  Jason Kauffman worked with me for the better part of 2 yrs while I was searching for the perfect house in Denver - every time I was interested in a property, all I had to do was email him the address and he was able to send over an estimate of the possible loan. Ultimately, the house I bought was a quick 72 hr-turn-around from the time the house was listed until my offer was accepted. There was never a delay or worry about getting the needed documentation to my realtor in a timely manner. I am a first time home-buyer and went with Jason via Yelp reviews. I was NOT disappointed.

  Jason Henkel was amazing. He helped us as first-time home buyers. He explained the process, advocated for us, gave us great advice, and helped get our mortgage approved even with new, non-salaried jobs. We cannot recommend him highly enough!

  Jason and his team were outstanding. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. I have high expectations for customer service and Jason exceeded it every day! He and his team were organized, efficient, responsive and made the process as easy as it could have been. He was ahead of any issues and knew how to prevent them from occurring by proactively offering a number of solutions.   Jason Kauffman is the man. Best mortgage broker I’ve ever worked with. I’ve done 3 transactions with him so far and I wouldn’t think of going with anyone else. He’s legit the best in Denver. Full stop.
