  Buyer Beware! No online membership application. Had to go to a branch. Applied for an auto loan. Was told it would cost $20 for the application fee. Was fine with that. Received a call the next day from the credit union, saying that it would take until the following day to process my application (accompanied with long explanation about someone being out that afternoon, another person out the next day, etc.), and that I would be getting a call tomorrow. No call the following day. Meanwhile, another credit union had processed my application (I signed up for membership and applied online) and had gotten a response within 24 hours. I went with the “got their act together” credit union. When I tried to get my $20 back from United Southwest, the reply was no. Was told that they had tried to call me on a specific day (the day they did call me to tell me it would be tomorrow) to have me fill out another form (was never told about another form). I am no longer a member with United Southeast Federal Credit Union and do NOT recommend them, obviously.

  I have been a member of USFCU since April of 1992. From checking to savings to a credit card to several car and truck loans they have been there for me. I currently owe nothing except our house mortgage and part of that is the credit union has helped me guide my finances in the right direction. They help you with IRAs and CDs for your retirement as well. All in all over the years I have been well pleased with USFCU.

  Terrible customer service and not willing to help in any way at any location! There are far better banks that will go above and beyond to help you out!

  Everyone is extremely friendly and the loan rates are the lowest you will find. Highly recommended.
