  The branch manager, Lori Longcoy, at the Fletcher NC location is simply wonderful. So caring, and will go out of her way to help you out of a difficult situation. Highly re on end.

  There is no way to contact the local branch! You can set up an "appointment " to receive a call from them, but although I got multiple alerts about the appointment I received no call. Their hours are M-F 9-5 when most people are working and can't make it in. Why not make it easy to actually talk to someone?

  I came into the branch office about a vehicle payment issue and from the start I was treated well and professional I thank you guys for the respect you showed and keep up the great work

  If you have any other choice other than UFCU, seriously consider it. I have received more personal and competent service from much larger banks such as USAA, Navy Federal Credit Union and Capital One than from UFCU. Consistent lack of internal communication (left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing), very poor customer communication, and numerous delays in service due to basic lack of organization and planning. COVID can't be to blame for all of their woes. During the same time frame I conducted numerous other banking transactions with 3 other banks and none of them had issues like UFCU.

  I have been in business 25 years and never received service like this. All of the staff at UFCU have helped us grow our business and streamline our personal finances. I can’t say enough good things about anyone you meet from the local branches to the Corporate directors, this credit union is here to partner with us!

  I have a history of avoiding going to the "bank" as the atmosphere was not friendly. NOT SO with the Fletcher United Federal Credit Union branch. Every staff member I have encountered has been friendly and helpful. There's always coffee or hot chocolate available and occasionally cake! Can't beat that. Kudos to the awesome staff of the Fletcher UFCU, I now go into the branch even though I could make deposits from my phone!!!

  This is what "banking" is supposed to be. I'm greeted by name when I walk in. And it's not just the tellers who know me. Everyone has a smile and they are eager to show me I am important to their business. Good rates, fantastic service, excellent people.

  If I could leave zero stars I would! I used this bank because of no fees because navy fed doesn't have a bank within 100 miles of my home , went there on my lunch break on feb 20th to take out and redeposit $ . 240 dollars was eaten at their atm. 120 taken 120 given back added the 120 again then said "transaction cancelled " no recipe not my $240 dollar spit back out of the atm nothing . I was left with nothing .That day that was all the $ I had! It's been almost a month !!! my bank is still investigating it ... This bank hasn't given them much of any info that is needed to work on my case . Feb the 20th I went inside to see if they could help they couldn't they said to call my bank I did I asked the woman at this bank if they could turn the atm off so no one else would get their $ stolen she said no . Fair warning you if you put $ in their atm it will prob get eaten like mine and not give you any sort of proof and when it gets investigated expect them to not care. My bank navy fed cares but clearly United fed doesn't care . And lazy people ! This bank sucks glad I don't bank at United fed but keep a look out people and see what kinda thieves they really are !

  Warning to all current, future and non members, this bank will STEAL your money and make you go through hell to get it back! I went to make close to a $500 cash deposit with the atm and it ate my money. After that I proceeded to contact their costumer care since this transaction happened after hours for this branch. The next morning I went into the bank first thing when it opened and after talking to Tiffany Whitaker I was told that it was not their banks problem and that I had to go through my own if I wanted my money back. Next I contacted my bank and was told that it actually fell on ufcu's shoulders since it was a cash deposit and I had to get my bank to talk to theirs so they would quit jerking me around. After this went on they finally agreed to take my information but would not give me my money! They gave me some bs excuse about having technicians coming out to the atm on a "strict" schedule and said that I had no proof of making the deposit and that they needed to audit the atm first to make sure there was an overage. I still haven't received the money and I don't have any definite date when I will get it back. I would also like to mention the assistant branch manager I talked to named Janice O'Brin who made an EXTREMELY rude comment about "it not being her fault that I live paycheck to paycheck." Both of the women I talked to were very rude and would not offer me any help whatsoever. I will never use this sorry excuse for a bank again for any transactions period!
