  Worst credit union I’ve ever encountered. Gives overdraft protection but does not give time to correct an error before charging you. The app is also a joke at best. I rarely give reviews and generally give businesses a chance to fix their mistakes but they chose not to. Go somewhere else that values their customers.

  These unfathomable people! Took my sons payroll for my overdraft an old closed account from months ago. Just today they took my 15yr old son entire 2 week check to cover my overdraft protection. Who treats kids that way? Disgusting well be taking our business else where. The overdraft came from a death in the family of my 19 yr old stepson earlier this year. How unfortunate the choices of some businesses. I will be consulting an attorney so if your a member better move your money they are about to be answering for theses actions in court!!! Child wage theft

  Everyone is super nice , they answer questions but if there not sure they will get you to someone who can. very fast never had to wait in long lines inside or drive through. They made sure there lobby was fixed for keeping everyone safe from Covis, all employees wore masks except the drive through teller. Great Bank !!!

  We used United Credit Union to refinance our home this year and are very happy with the service. We had one person handling the whole case (Theresa) which made everything easier. We didn't have to hunt down paperwork for multiple people or wait weeks for calls. I had a direct line for her and email. If I asked a question without fail she would get back to me same day. I truly felt she was rooting for us and had our back. The whole process was easy, good communication and less stressful then the previous company we were trying to use. I would recommend them to any of my friends.

  Like please! I've banked at numerous locations around the country, and overseas; United Credit Union Columbia branch Managed by the infamous Amy Montcalm is the best bank in every aspect of banking! I've never seen a bank or credit Union offer to merge loans resulting in a large deduction in profits for the institution.. This bank truly cares and looks out for their clients, the individuals. Though I live in Texas, I will never bank at any other location! Hats off UCU!!!!!!

  Fantastic institution! We've been with United for 30+ years and have nothing but good things to say about them. Our experiences have been GREAT! Always friendly and courteous service. We've had several loans with these folks. We even refinanced a couple of vehicles and moved into a much better rate than we received even at the dealership. I'm not sure what's up with the "one star" reviewers here. Sour grapes maybe? Take it from a long time customer, this is a fantastic bank. I would recommend it to anyone and have several times. Keep up the good work y'all!

  They don't care about their clients. I had a fraudulent charge on my account when they went and checked on it they said since it was a subscription they could not do it . It was from identity iq . Do not use them if you want to keep things going good in your account . They don't care about their clients . I recommend you find a better bank.

  I became a member at 14 y/o when I opened account with united credit union….I am now 46 y/o. I have never bounced a check, overdrawn on my account, and have “A+” (over 800) credit score. At one time I really felt like Untied Credit Union believed in “old school values” and the power of a person’s word. Throughout the years it has become apparent that members are nothing more then numbers. Like most, they have forgotten that without those members they, United Credit Union, couldn’t exist. I tried to get a home loan back in 1999 and was denied, so went to Commerce Bank the same day and was approved...and for the same A.P.R. Over the years have applied for auto loans and was either denied or found cheaper rates despite United Credit Unions advertised .25% lower for checking, .25% lower for savings, .25% lower for credit card holders, and .25% lower for debit card user…A total of 1% alleged cheaper A.P.R. than the going rate for home, auto, and personal loans. I have almost always found that to be false and ended up getting loans through other FDIC financial institutions. Their auto loan department is seriously limited both educationally in regards to automobiles in general and the steps needed to get a loan. And a simple loan procedure takes days, if not weeks, to get approved. I can not in good conscious recommend this banking institution to anyone. As of today, I still use United Credit Union but in a limited capacity only. I do my main banking elsewhere.
