  Worker did not know Philadelphia was part of Pennsylvania and would not cash my check🤣🤣 Please do better and hire someone who at least can read addresses Check was not from out of the area it was from a bank that was here.. so it was Republic Bank check for a tax return And she clearly said out of state and never corrected herself The address showing Philadelphia was on my address not the local banks 🤷🏻‍♀️ They cashed it at a different United check cashing without an issue I’ve just always used you guys out of habit but will not in the future

  She said that we cannot cash a check from OUT OF THE AREA, not OUT OF THE STATE.

  The person on the phone was extremely rude and apparently if you signed the the money order they won't expect it. Needs better customer service.

  We have no history of your call or a visit in our database for you at our particlular store location. You may have called another location in Wilkes-Barre. Further, the information you claim about the money order doesn't match our guidelines which is also another reason that I believe that you may have called or visited another location than ours. We are sorry for your experience.

  They wouldn't cash my check because I live an hour away

  That's correct. There are 10+ check cashers between our store and your address. Not sure why youd come from an hour away to cash. Also, we do not have to cash anything that we dont want to, just like a bank. If the check came back and we had to try and recover it from over an hour away from our store, it would be very difficult.

  Very fast and convenient! Easy in and out. The girls behind counter worked very fast to get you out so you can have more time to do other things. And they were very friendly as well. Highly recommend this place. And prices are reasonable if need a check cash and your bank is closed or no bank account.

  If I could leave zero stars I would. These people need to be watched because they steal. They took my money and didn't add the amount I asked them to add to a bill. When I complained, the workers were belligerent, refused to give me their names, or even look for the receipts to compare to my own receipt which was different than their claims. They would not call the manager or give me his name. I left my number, but never received a call back. While we were there another cashier refused to change the amount another customer asked to be paid for his bills. She repeatedly told this man he was lying about how much he wanted paid, and refused to change it or give him the difference! She was behaving disrespectful because he had an accent and accused him of not understanding English, which he spoke much better than the horrible grammar she spoke with. I should have know they wouldn't address complaints. I was warned by others about this location. A friend had money missing from her pay check she cashed there, and the manager refused to call her back too. A month before this incident we were there and a customer who had a grievance had returned for the 3rd time to speak to the manager. The manager hid in the back and told the girls up front to lie and say he wasn't there before the customer could even walk up to the window! Evidently I have stopped using them. It saves me money and a headache. If you have to use a check cashing place go elsewhere. If you can't, record every thing and watch them closely. They are not honest people.

  Simply not true. Every transaction is recorded on video. If there is ever a dispute it can be reviewed. Feel free to come in with the time and date of your transaction and you can view for yourself. You can also contact the police if you think that something is not right, we'd be more than willing to let them review our video on your behalf.

  I have been going here every Thursday for the past 2-3 years. I never had a problem with them until today. All of a sudden they said they can't cash my payroll check since it is dated for the next day. What?!? I've been here literally EVERY THURSDAY for 2-3 years and my checks have ALWAYS been dated for the next day. That's the only reason I was willing to pay the outrageous fees they charge..anywhere from $7-$12 just to cash a check..now there is no reason for me to go there anymore. They just lost a loyal customer. Don't bother with them- the fees they charge should be illegal. I can understand if you want your money a day early,.but you are better off going to any bank or even Walmart or Price Chopper where it's only $2 to cash a check.

  The fees we are charge are very minimal in comparison to other check cashing facilities. They are based upon a percentage of your check. Therefore, the higher the check, the higher the fee. Some places like Wal Mart have a different check cashing license than us and are able to charge a small flat fee. So if your check is $30 they will charge you a $6 flat fee. When a $30 check would only cost you $1.05 at our location. Our system helps out those with small checks. Wal Mart only does this in order to get you to spend your paycheck at their store.   I went in today and was told by the lady that she didnt have enough to cash my small check. I go in almost every week to cash the same damn amount and its never been a problem. Like how do you not have enough to cash a check, you're a check chashing business.

  We've been open since 2009. We have never "run out of money". On Fridays at the end of the day (toward closing) we may be limited to smaller bills as we are a very high volume facility. Nonetheless, if you are ever told this, it is not true. I'd advise you to call the store at 570-718-4721 and ask for Brian.

  Best place to cash your checks and cheap money orders. The place is clean and staff is amazing
