  Was a member for 4+ years before closing my account. Between them constantly reporting my everyday regular charges as fraud, and the absolutely terrible condition of their parking lot, I decided to close my account. They only have locations in Bay city, and they don't care about member retention. All there systems and ways of doing things are old, and not up to date with modern banking. Do yourself a favor, choose a different credit union.

  Kim was super helpful when I had an issue with my account and was very patient with me. Also there is always friendly tellers when going through the drive thru and it’s always a quick trip.

  Do NOT use the mobile deposit feature on the app for this place. It puts a 4 day hold on the money, even though the policy for mobile deposit says if deposited before end of the business day, it will be in your account by end of business day. Makes ZERO sense

  They are usually very fast and friendly. I only had a few problems like my account being locked. Just because an account that had my name on it from when I was little was over drafted somehow, even though I never used it, my dad did. But I talked to a manager and got it figured out. Inside is usually faster for me so I wish they were open inside on Saturdays. Overall a very good bank I have been with for years. Way better than Huntington by far. :)

  Bank is extremely slow on Money transfers to outside entities. For example: I scheduled a payment on my discover card nearly 1 week before it was due. The payment cleared on the discover side the Friday it was scheduled. Ubccu didn’t event attempt to take any funds from my account until Monday. (It was not a holiday weekend either.) They then proceeded by issuing me an overdraft of 35 dollars because my account was then 5 dollars short. They didn’t pay my credit card payment at all...So I basically just paid 35$ for absolutely nothing. I wouldn’t have been upset since I made a mistake didn’t notice the lag on the banks end and the 5$ plus the 35$ were added as a negative account balance and my credit card was paid. I went to the bank so I could try to understand how I was issued an overdraft fee, when no funds were taken from my account and issued to Discover at all. So basically I paid 35 dollars for ubccu to look in my account 3 days after they were supposed to and see I was 5 dollars short and do nothing else but collect their money. No one from the bank even contacted me and I’ve been banking with them for over 16 years. I’m a sensible person and the staff did nothing to help but try to pin it on discover. This all took place at the Lincoln branch

  Very professional and some of the friendliest service I've ever seen. Got my first mortgage for a house through them, they all already know me by name, and seem to truly care about their customers. Always a pleasure to visit here.

  Terry Luptowski is hands down a very nice guy, he made sure my problem was taken care of and didn't stop working on it until it was fixed after I talked to multiple people and no one could get it handled for me. Terry even contacted me multiple times after it was fixed to make sure that the problem didn't come back. Thanks Terry!!

  I've been a member for yearsAnd cashing checks from the same place thereAnd now all of a sudden every time I go to cash a check they put a hold on it

  I had some minor issues with my account there but the staff was always very helpful in resolving it quickly.. great loan opprotunities and the most hassle free applications as well.
