  As business owners, we cannot recommend Umpqua highly enough. We previously banked with one of the largest banks in the country and received virtually no communication nor support when we needed it the most. The final straw was when we were applying for the COVID Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) loan. The bank we had been working with refused to communicate any updates on our application and then denied us because of a "system glitch." With the program's funds dwindling rapidly, we were certain that we were going to miss our opportunity so we approached Umpqua. Within a matter of a couple of days they helped us submit a new PPP application. We received funding shortly thereafter, as Umpqua had set up an extremely efficient process to capture and distribute funding ahead of most other banks. We subsequently moved all our banking to Umpqua. Without exception, every single person at this branch has been incredibly helpful, attentive and proactive. We receive follow-up calls without requesting them, solutions to problems we didn't specifically ask assistance with (or that even pertain to banking) and more. Umpqua treats us not just as valued clients but more like business partners. We've personally banked with the nation's largest banks, with credit unions and a nationwide bank who caters to the military with a very good reputation. None of them compare to the service levels Umpqua has provided.

  We have banked with Umpqua for 15 years and have primarily dealt with the Clackamas Branch. All of the interaction with the staff have been great. I especially appreciate Josh Kirby, he is personable and professional and helped us on a number of banking issues.

  I've been banking with Umpqua for about five years, after coming from and still tolerating some of the big name banks. I would like to extend a big thank you to the team at the Clackamas store. They always do a great job! I'd also like to say a big thank you to Josh Kirby for putting together a HELOC for me most recently. Professional, friendly and great at communication!   Umpqua has always been an amazing bank to work with coming from previous banks such as US Bank and Bank of America. They don't try and drag fees out of you at every chance and are always willing to meet the customer on their end. This branch in particular has saved me on multiple occasions. They canceled an overdraft fee for me when I was waiting 15 weeks for unemployment to come through, they pushed me up their schedule as a priority when I had to set up a business account for my run for Mayor of OC so that I could file before the deadline, and they most recently took a charge off of my account for checks that were ordered that I don't need that would makeup about 4% of my current campaign budget. Special thanks to Josh and everyone for all the work that they have put it to help me get all of this accomplished.

  Yep. The worlds greatest bank. Josh Kirby and team at the Clackamas Office are rock stars. Their customer service could not be better! Josh helped me get set up on the "Umpqua To Go" app. With the app, you can text securely with your banker and then go to the drive-up window to conduct your bank business in a Covid-safe way. Thanks, Josh!

  My wife and I have been banking with Umpqua Bank for better than a decade. Recently, we had an opportunity to secure a lower percentage mortgage through a competitive bank. Not only did Umpqua assist in a smooth transition, they congratulated us on our find! As the transition progressed, however, we were let down and very disappointed with the other banks terms for a home equity (HELOC) loan. Sure enough, Umpqua Bank wecomed us back into the "family" and secured a very reasonable HELOC loan with perks such as "locking" down the HELOC with a ten-year, very attractive, low rate. Our hats are off to the pleasant banking experiences with Umpqua Bank thanks to Jeannne and Josh. We highly recommend Umpqua Bank for your banking needs!

  Crystal, Jesse, Chris, and everyone else there are always a pleasure to deal with. Edit: 5 years ago Umpqua was a great community focused bank that had low fees and great service. Since that time, Umpqua has relentlessly expanded and lost its focus on being the "Worlds Greatest Bank". It really just feels like another big bank without neighborhood charm. I've talked with many fellow business owners and my experience unfortunately seems to be the norm. It hasn't gotten so bad that I am actively looking for another financial institution yet, but I'm sure that is only a matter of time.
