T T5I've banked with UMB for over 10 years. Love their service, I dont have issues with my account often but when/if I do they're so lovely to deal with. I also received a call from them just to say HBD to me.I thought that was beautiful of the young lady to do that. I would recommend them to anyone like anything in life keep your acct In order on your end, treat them with respect and you'll be alright!

D. Paul Wagner Jr5Good afternoon, I have had an account with UMB for some 20yrs. Today I had some complications with my checking account and went into the Brentwood Branch, because its close to work. I had very little time to resolve the problems due to being on lunch. I arrived to a warm greeting from Operations Manager Leonor Mercado. I explained my dilemma to her and she notified me that I would probably need to go to branch where account was opened, but she would look into it. She was able to resolve the issue and correct my account in a timely and friendly manner. Thank you so much!! Your loyal customer, Paul

Jonathan Noll5I worked with Shamela today. I received great service from her. I was away on work and paypal incorrect charged my bank instead of my credit card. This caused a bunch of issues with fees. I spent about 200 and ended up with 540 in fees. Shamela took the time to call her manager twice and waive all of the charges. I'm not a deadbeat but the pandemic has crushed me. She handed me a card with her name on it. On the back of the card it said you can "Count on more." Well, I can count on more from Shamela. This is the Midwest. Bank with a Midwestern bank based in KC. Best wishes to all.

Kate K2Usually have a pleasant experience at this branch/location. The woman who assisted us today is most certainly working in the wrong industry or in need of some additional training; customer service is not for her. I asked if I was able to close a checking account through the drive-thru and she did not understand. I had to repeat myself three times. She eventually replied, stating I was able to make a withdrawal using my driver license in the drive-thru. Really? What else would a drive-thru be for? Deposits only? After explaining we were in a hurry and just wanted to make a withdrawal (and did not have time to come inside to close the account), we experienced zero movement in 10 minutes. When I asked the reason for the delay, she explained she did not think my signature matched my license nor could she see me in the passenger seat. If she could not see me, she should have simply asked me to adjust myself so she could. It's nice to know, that with some practice, I could forge a signature and withdraw money from anyone's account so long as I've lifted their license. She ended up leafing through old slips to ensure the signatures were a match. The withdrawl was finally received after 17 minutes! I was the only person in line the entire time. This is just another example as to why I am closing my account and moving on from UMB all together.

Carolyn Koppel5This is a bank that will do almost anything for their customers. This bank is Missouri owned, and it's easy to to establish a relationship with everyone who works there. I have banked with banks that are bigger and much less helpful. If you are a long time resident of St. Louis County, or a Newbie, this is the way to go. Their service is personal, and everyone there seems to care. Great place to bank!
