  After speaking with Sofia at the Hadley branch, and getting all the required information she told us we would need, we were turned down from opening a CD with the interest rate stated by Sofia. Her incompetence has caused us to lose out on the stated interest rate she had quoted. People answering important questions at this bank should be able to handle a simple question about the rates at their bank. This has caused my wife and I to lose interest on our money. TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE

  Application to heat loan was poorly handled by people in the consumer loan department and I gave up proceeding my application. The manager constantly showed protective tones during conversation. I would recommend other commercial banks for better and more helpful services.

  As an employee here at UMass I figured I would bank through UMass five. Bad decision, customer service is horrible, unwilling to work with you, I have worked with two people on loans. The one who refinanced my car was wonderful, the one I spoke to about a personal loan was extremely rude. Not to mention the website is always down. Highly do not recommend

  I have been a member for 26 years! I utilize free financial advisor. I love my credit union! They have helped me tremendously over the years... I utilize the coop points for loans and savings!

  Credit cards don't work in other countries. Fraud detection service is abysmal. They have problems mailing things to me; took 2 years to get them to fix a mailing address problem. Was told by a VP of the bank that if I want good service from umassfive I should go elsewhere.

  There are frequent downtimes at this bank; many days I try to access my account and it’s updating Several times per month. Their main branch in Worcester doesn’t have any access to a reasonable parking area.

  Difficult to find the entrance which is actually off plantation at the end of fourth st at the far end of the parking lot on your right. But... excellent customer service! Thank you
