U.S. Bank Branch Reviews

Luke Dickerson5Not sure what all the negative reviews are about. I have been visiting this branch for years and have always had a pleasant experience with the tellers and bank managers. Shout out to Tracey and Jennifer who are always friendly and deliver top-notch service! I don't remember the names of all the other staff but they have all be equally as pleasant helpful.

Jason Felton1So we did bank with US Bank it was a business account and apparently I overdrafted my account by 30 or $40 never received any kind of overdraft notice whatsoever and these overdrafts were small because I thought I had $100 in the account and I was buying coffee and soda and small things like that until I overdrafted it somewhere around 40 bucks they ended up charging me almost $300 in late fees they charged me $37 per overdraft which I would think would be acceptable for the first one with a notice that your account has been overdraft nothing I get statements from them we get emails from them but they couldn’t do anything let me know my account was overdrafted???????I will never bank with these people again and this was in a matter of four or five days this wasn’t like stretched over a month or anything

Liz Atkins1I’ve had an account here for years. I called and asked some questions about refinancing my car loan and it was a positive experience. They seemed eager to help and welcomed me in. Once I got there it was a different story. I explained that I talked to someone on the phone about my car loan and no one directed me to the person that helped me, the lady just started asking questions. It could have been her that had helped me but she never said if she was the one that I talked to. It would have been nice to work with the same person I had already spent 30 minutes talking with. She did not seem as eager to help me as the person on the phone, I seemed more like a bother to her. She also had to ask me how to spell the model of my car, so obviously a lot of people are not coming here to refinance often. Something must have been entered incorrectly on her end, because I was denied. My credit score has went up over 100 points since I first got my car loan over a year ago, and there’s no reason this should have been the case. The only explanation is that she had my information wrong. I figured since I’ve been coming here for years they would have put in more effort to help me, but she pretty much didn’t have any answers. I’m going to dispute this and am considering closing my account after this experience.

Dave Gamble1I went to the bank early Saturday August 15th Because I wanted to be the first in line knowing the lines are very long. I needed to pick up my last two months of bank statements to take to my mortgage company to refinance my house. The teller was short with me and said it’s going to take time come back Monday when the lobby is open, And I was short with her and told her that my appointment was at 3:30 Monday and I’m going straight after work that I could not do it Monday so she put me on hold for about two minutes and surprisingly she had all my statements. But in the process she failed to return my drivers license and my bank card and I just realize it Sunday the 16th. I’ve been calling Monday the 17th all morning and I just keep getting the COVID-19 recording and then it hangs up so I called another branch and they are trying to get a hold of them via email and then relayed to me that indeed they have them which I know they do but I just want to talk to somebody so I could send my wife over there and she will have to run them to where I work because I need my license for my appointment, this is ridiculous.

Elizabeth W1A representative reached out to us in July for a refinance from this branch and we were approved, but after multiple attempts to complete the process and doing my part nothing has happened. I have had to call or email them almost every time to get anything done and even reached out to the representative’s manager, it seems like when you finally get ahold of them they remember they were trying to help you. Horrible communication, and that’s if I got a reply or call back and it’s very disappointing when you reached out to me. I am going to refinance somewhere else.
Response from the ownerHello, Elizabeth. We are truly sorry to hear that this process was a less than favorable one for you. We want you to feel satisfied and that we truly value you as our customer. Matthew Whitaker1Worst bank I've ever been to. People inside are amazing but the bank itself is terrible. I've had my account one week and wish I had gone elsewhere. It started with them calling me to tell me that i hadn't finished the process of setting up my account. They needed a copy of my license which the had already gotten at the branch as well as proof of residence something the should have asked for when i applied. Now they tell me you can't deposit cash with their temporary card and no one bothered to inform me of it. Now I'm half way across the US with a Bill wanting me to pay with a bank account and no bank account to pay it with. Representatives on the phone had no options for me aside from going back across the US to get my permanent card. Honestly about to close my account.

David Couch1Spent the past about 2 months in process. We have a few investment properties and 800+ credit scores. USB had all information up front, or when requested, we held nothing back. In this 2 months time USB have changed rates, changed what loans were available, then added additional requirements, changed their mind and total waste of companies time. Although nice personally, the USB commercial mortgage company seems poorly organized in the offering of their products.

M Dialupgirl1I made an appointment at this branch to discuss credit card fraud for my parents. Dad has Alzheimers so I have to file as POA everywhere and check into everything for him. When I arrived for my appointment, which was confirmed previously by a human, the teller was rude and told me that I would have to wait. Then I heard her on the say on the telephone that, "You can make an appointment but it doesn't matter. You can just come in if you want." So I knew then that they do not care if you make an appointment. They take you as you walk in. That's why she was so rude when I asked her if I should check in for my appointment. You CAN'T check in if it doesn't matter if you have one or not. I asked the older gentleman who was waiting before me if he also had an appointment, and he said no, he was just waiting to open an account? REALLY? Since there was only one banker (and a ton of dark, empty rooms with no other employees), and two people in front of me who were obviously more important than my appointment, I walked out. I drove to another branch where I received the help I needed. Turns out I didn't need the bank anyway, I needed a fraud number for the credit card division. So had I waited for an hour or so I would have been told "I can't help you, here's the number." My husband asked why they didn't tell me that when I told why I was coming in, and I told him I was wondering the same thing. Hmm. Very unorganized overall and unpleasant teller.

sunflowershanna1Charged me 5 overdraft fees in one day totaling $180 over ONE overdraft and refused to waive the fees. Shameful bank, just go to Wright patt instead.
Response from the ownerHello Shanna. Thank you for taking a moment to share your experience with us. We understand that overdraft fees can be frustrating. We do have many options to help avoid overdraft situations. Please reach out to your local branch or our customer service team to discuss overdraft coverage, protection, and our Safe Debit Account which does not charge overdraft fees. We hope this information is helpful. Thank you. ^Ryan
