I’m very disappointed. We walked in to start a simple joint savings account and were turned away and told it was a two week wait for an appointment. We were helped immediately over the phone. Next my daughter went to the drive through to deposit her graduation money and was given no help by the banker just a generic deposit slip and an attitude. I would really love to switch banks as this is not the first time I’ve been treated as if I was an inconvenience at this branch.

This branch of USBank was unprofessional, rude, and more concerned with personal conversation than helping a business owner out. Stay away.

Just walked out of this branch from cashing a check. I'm new to the area and actually looking for a local bank so I paid attention to the way things were handled while there. First off, Amber, the clerk did not greet me in any way as I walked in. She did not even ask me how she could help me. She simply stared at me. I told her I need to cash a check despite her not even acknowledging me. The entire time she never changed demeanor. Simply asked the basic questions at a minimum. She then proceeded to tell me there is a 7$ charge to cash a check if THEIRS. That was about all I needed to know about this bank to make my decision of banking with them. Besides that, the rudeness of the clerk was confirmed to me again as I walked out and heard her , very nicely, greet the next guest in line with a "Hi there" If this is the treatment gieven to someone just looking to cash a check from this bank while looking for potential new bank, then I DEFINITELY do not recommend it. Also the outside looks very ran down. I almost didn't think it was open judging by the lack of any landscaping.

      Response from the owner

We apologize the service you received at your local branch was less than desirable, Jessica. Normally, check cashing is a service provided for U.S. Bank customers. You would need to deposit the check into a U.S Bank account or into your external account. We appreciate your feedback regarding the size of the fee. This is something that we regularly review and it's possible that this will change in the future. Thanks again for your time and feedback. ^Larisa

Absolute Worst bank I’ve ever dealt with. Only 1 person at 1 location in the entire city on Saturday. Huge line at that location. No lobby open. Then, they refuse to cash a check because of the amount. Said I had to come back Monday and they would cash it. Ummmm. Now I’m back on Monday waiting in a huge line again to cash my check. Only 1 teller shooting the bull and laughing??? Seriously...... Makes the next person walk back out to the little stand to get his own deposit slip. After waiting in line for 30 minutes they Refused to cash the check drawn on Their bank. AGAIN. And, rude arrogant employees working there. Told me I should cash THEIR check somewhere else. There are other banks with MUCH Better services. Like Gate City. The drive ups and lobbies are all open on Saturday. Free checking. No atm fees anywhere.

Hello MB, sorry to hear about your dissatisfaction with your most recent interaction with the bank. There should never be a reason for our customers or non-customers to ever feel as if we are not putting them first and showing them in any fashion that they don't matter. I can assure you we strive daily to let our customers know how much their time matters. If there is a way that we can possibly right our wrongs, then please send us an email with your phone number and reference 2126 to [email protected]. We hope to hear from you soon. ^Chris

I went into this branch a few days ago with hopes of, again, opening a savings account and gather some information about taking out a substantial personal loan. I sat in the lobby, waiting for the only Customer Service Representative (CSR) early on a Tuesday morning. The CSR had problems paying an individual's loan and went back behind the teller counter four times to ask questions. Additionally, the personal loan was never submitted as automatic payment per the customer's request, so they were hit with a late fee. Behind the teller counter, there were only two others, one working drive-thru, and the other working lobby— a line for days for both. Read other reviews, and you can see manning is an issue with this branch. I left after 25 minutes to open an account elsewhere.

      Response from the owner

I went in to change my address because my aunt recently switched the account into my name. The lady told me she couldn't change my address even though I had a paper stating I needed to go in and change my address. I showed her it and she still said she can't change my address. So I went to the one downtown and they changed it no problem.
