greg kurth1Shady bank practices. I opened a checking account here years ago and without my knowledge they attached a line of credit to this account. Over time they transferred money between this account and the line of credit, over drafting my account and attaching a 21% interest to it. When I asked to see where I signed approving this line of credit I was told by the manager, Rebecca Boyle, that it was a verbal agreement and they had thrown out the paperwork. This is a predatory bank with terrible customer service. Avoid this branch and this bank

Lance Hartland1Wow! I specifically asked Suezan Marinello at the Chico branch if my auto refinance loan was amortized. She said no. Lo and behold, I get a welcome to your new Auto Loan email from U.S. Bank. I scroll down and see this little fine print message: "This is an amortized loan so you pay more interest at the beginning and less at the end." This lady legitimately lied straight to my face. Also, the loan took over an hour of signing paperwork. My name was misspelled at first. There was no where to sit. She didn't mention any documents I need to bring. After leaving, she called to ask me to come back and sign one last paper. Who has time for this? Also, I see $60 of unspoken for fees that surprisingly showed up on top of my loan. Long story short, avoid U.S. Bank for any of your lending needs! I wish I knew that before doing business with them.

David Thomas5UPDATE: 4 MONTHS LATER:I absolutely love baking with this branch! Highly recommend! I have had an online prepaid bank account for the last 7 years. And I finally decided to grow up and start adulting. I read the bad reviews on this site and I'm weird like that, it made me actually want to go in and see for myself how bad it was. No I am sure other people have definitely had less than perfect service. I believe what they say. However, when I went in there the lady who helped me was very pleasant. We struck up a nice conversation about our local town and some of the problems we see within and some of the cool things that we like about it. All during that time I opened my first checking account that I have had in probably 15 16 years. The process was super easy, everything was explained to me pretty well. Overall I would have to say I do not have any complaints about this Branch. They were super busy but they made me feel like I was the only person there. Everybody had a smile and was very kind to me. I look forward to banking here. I have a few of my close friends who do currently Bank there and have for years and they have always given it a positive review to me. Good luck to those who have had bad experiences and I am sorry for that, but I definitely got treated very very kind

Vanessa Martinez1Horrible customer service at this branch. Actually the company as whole. A hold was placed on my sister’s debit card. Unfortunately, it happened while she was traveling and out of state. US bank needed to verify transactions. She called to review the transactions and was placed on hold for over an hour no one from the card fraud detection answered. The call canceled on their end so she called again placed on hold for another hour. She then decided to call this branch they were totally unable to assist. They advised her to go into a branch so she did and they were NOT able to fix the problem, however, The US bank she did go into was able to print her a temp card, but how inconvenient is that while traveling ?!!! And if the call volume for the card fraud department is that large then there has to be a larger problem. To be unable to solve this problem while traveling was completely frustrating and the lack of customer service from this branch appalling.
