U.S. Bank Branch Reviews

Matt1Asked manager a direct question about possible removal of reg. T hold... she told me it wasn't possible, even though it certainly is. Tellers and manager were less than helpful. Thankfully experience is much better at other branches. Avoid this one if at all possible. Edit: To add additional info after doing further research. This manager and her tellers need significant retraining. First they tried to make it sound like a reg T hold on a cashiers check was somehow government mandated. In fact it is the opposite: "Federal regulations limit how banks can set up their funds availability policies. Banks are allowed to be less strict if they want–they can make funds available immediately, and they often do so–but they cannot hold funds forever." So not only did she lie to me about whether it would be possible to have a manager remove the hold (which as mentioned above, it certainly was even though she said it wasn't) - but it is also in no way "government mandated" as her and her tellers repeatedly claimed. I could also mention that the check in question was in an amount that is a fraction (1/6) of the total balance of my accounts at the bank. Lucky for the bank the managers at other locations are not on such a crazy power trip or I'd be closing my accounts and moving to another bank.

JC Here5I was there last week to draw out some money from my savings account and didn't have any trouble at all....only one in line too. And this was in the lock down stage of the virus. Then I shopped in the beautiful, clean, well stocked Albertsons store. Have been with US Bank since 2006 and never have had any problems. I will be back. A Senior says Thank you.

Sassy1The slowest service ever. I have been with this bank since 1982 and will be switching to a bank that has customer service. In the bank now two tellers on after a holiday at a peek time.
