  They charge overdraft fees. No modern bank charges overdraft fees. Why would anyone in their right mind let a bank charge them overdraft fees because of a simple error? Bye bye UICCU!

  I have used the credit union for many many years. I love the credit union. I trust everyone I have dealt with and never had any issues.

  Buyer beware!! What an absolute nightmare..... this company offers cheap car loan interest rates, don’t be fooled though they are going to get there money out of you one way or another, here is how they did it to me, I had a 2,000 deductible on my vehicle they wanted 1,000 so as a punishment they charged me $7,000 dollars because I had a 1,000 higher deductible than what they liked. How does this make sense. I’m a reasonable guy. Charge me 1,000 dollars and I probably wouldn’t be complaining, but how the heck do they come up with $7,000.

  I have done a lot of business with this bank and saved a lot of money there, that they have used to do business. But I implore you - if you can, avoid doing business with this bank. I think this bank has the worst customer service of any bank I have ever dealt with. Even at 8 am, they make you wait 40 minutes to speak to an agent. The agents are usually not helpful, they ask a lot of your personal information but rarely know the answer to your question. The online banking webpage is hard to use. Lacks basic information like your account number. The fees for wire transfers is huge. Once again the people who help with phone banking are untrained and sometimes outright dumb. So, if you can, avoid this bank like the plague.

  If you are here for an auto loan, Katie Bogner is who you should definitely speak to. She is an absolute professional, prompt and clear in communication and made the loan process very easy for me. I cannot thank her enough for making the entire process transparent and at every step of the way she was kind, understanding, and considerate of my many questions and requests. Thanks Katie!

  This bank is by far one of the worst in town. The courtesy pay fees are ridiculous. They say they offer a line of credit checking but won't approve you for it because they enjoy taking money from those who can't afford to lose it. Thanks a lot UICCU!! Because of your courtesy pay fee's I wasn't able to get formula for my kid

  I was pleasantly surprised with U of I Community Credit Union. I had to visit the branch to manage my RSO account and the bankers were beyond friendly and respectful.
