Worst bank I have ever dealt with. My husband and I had the exact same fraud charge on both of our cards. It's been months of arguing with them and speaking with managers. My husband received his refund however they are denying mine. The exact same charge from the exact same company. How does this make sense? Also I have updated my address at least a 1/2 dozen times and yet I haven't received any correspondence from them! Why? Because they still have our old address and won't update it to the new one. Ridiculous! Worst mistake I ever made was opening an account with Tucson Federal Credit Union.

I've been a member for 10 years; however, I am done with them. Their customer service has gone so far downhill since the pandemic. First, I tried to resolve a fraudulent charge and got a major runaround from "customer service." The secure email rep told me that I had to call the main number, so I called. They told me that I had to contact the fraud department, so I did. That got nowhere. I emailed a supervisor, who said she would call me to resolve the issue. She never did. Then, I had another $600 fraudulently taken from my checking account via ACH withdrawal, so the account had to be closed. I went into the branch to get it straightened out, and the person who "helped" me opened a new account for me, issued me a new debit card, but then never actually closed the old account! (He did get back my stolen money, however.) I made a bunch of debit card transactions thinking the money was coming from my new account, but it was being withdrawn from my old account that I thought was closed. Now, I have $1,000 in overdraft I have to pay off. I'm tired of my banking institution causing me nonstop heartburn. I'll be moving on from TFCU in short order. EDIT: I changed the rating from one star to three because the branch manager reached out promptly and took responsibility for the issue. The reason my account was not closed was a tech glitch, not the fault of any one person. I'm still not happy it happened but at least the matter is now resolved.

Was referred to TFCU by a co-worker and I have nothing but great things to say. Andrea was the initial person I spoke with and she made things super easy. I also got the privilege of working with Luis at this branch and he was also a great representative. Luis was able to get to me in between appointments and got me out of there pretty quick. Luis even helped me find a charger for my phone as it was dying. Everyone here gets 5 stars from me, especially Luis and Andrea. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

      Response from the owner

Thank you, Rodrigo! We appreciate your kind review and thank you for being a TFCU member!

Would rate lower if possible. Had 49k CASHIERS CHECK ! acquired through my deceased father- will. Called branch to determine ; can I come in or is it necessary for an appointment. Told I could walk in Arrived at 2 pm. line out the door. Man comes from behind counter to’ Triage’ folks in line. Stated I am new client, to open accounts. He assumed was there for real estate transactions as my documents were in title company folder. Negative response.. Informed there to deposit: receipt of will; father Informed me would have 7 day hold; on funds from CASHIERS CHECK- BNk of America?? Then didn’t know if cashier check would be held ? Said I required appointment and would need wait in teller line to even find out when? He was not even interested in a deposit of $49k Something is terribly with the customer service over the phone and in person here.

Had such a difficult time with my auto loan application process at another branch but Luis was able to fix it for me and finalize everything in less than an hour. I appreciate the efficiency and assistance from this branch! Everyone was incredibly kind and I will be doing my banking here from now on.

I give this place a negative 100 if I could. Tiffany is very unprofessional not helpful at all, has a mind of her own, very rude, recommend people to talk to someone else.

Just got a reminder call for a notary appointment. I was told there's a $10 fee they just started about a month ago. First of all there was no mention of that on the website when I made the appointment. Secondly, I've been member of credit unions my entire life and never had to pay for a notary. Other credit unions say the first two or three per year are free and then you pay. That sounds reasonable. But $10 for the first one is ridiculous. Also adding additional fees in the middle of a pandemic When money is tight is just really bad timing. Update: After talking with them they are reviewing their new notary fee policy. We will see what happens. I will modify my star rating accordingly depending on that outcome. Edit Dec2021: Each time I interact with TFCU it looses a star. I have sent messages through their member portal/website asking very specific questions and never received any response. Ever. I tried this method because no matter when I call I am on hold for 8-15 minutes just to get to a person. In that time on hold I am subject to an endless loop on the outgoing hold message telling me how great they are. It's obnoxious. I guess they think they have a captive audience so they might as well advertise. One of my New Year resolutions is to find a new credit union.

As with most banking institutions, this one is also lacking. The tellers are young and really don't understand people and the importance their money plays in their lives, or else they just don't care. They seem nice but they have the idea that customers are all scammers trying to get away with something. It's very tiresome and unlikely to change. I do not recommend them except as a necessary evil. Find something better for yourself.

Was at the speedway location this past Monday and only one drive through teller was open. The line almost reached speedway. Then all of a sudden a staff member informed us that the ATM served as a drive thru teller. Why didn't they put a sign up stating so. For as long that I've been a member it's only been an ATM. I complained to the teller about the lack of consideration, lack of empathy towards it members especially during this pandemic and bad service. She then gave me an email address. What a joke.
