Sad. Avoid this credit union. They can't even handle basic arithmetic. The girls a the counter are OH so nice, but they can't do anything because they don't know anything and the managers the next two levels up are clueless as well. This is not a one-time "something went wrong." This is systemic dysfunction. Read the other reviews. Find another way to meet your banking needs.

A teacher here, who wanted to open an account, called their number with some questions regarding new accounts, but after waiting 15 minutes, NO ONE ANSWERED THE PHONE! Obviously customer service is lacking...

I want to give this a half a star - I have been calling every month for the last five months to fix issues and all I’ve seen are more problems with transferring money - I tried setting up automatic payments to send money ONLY TO MY CAR BILL the first time - and magically some how MAGICALLY my money is sent to my savings after I had already called to have someone guide me through the process of transferring - Then again I sign virtual paper work to send money to my car bills and I get more money sent to my savings account - WHY!? I have only the urge to want to PAY MY CAR BILL not set up a savings account with you guys. I’ve called and called and I’m tired of repeating my address or what type of car I drive. - and I have to use a certain browser to get stuff done!?!!!? - and I can’t use my iPhone!? If your slogan is wide banking network - you’re looking pretty slim when it comes to iPhone owners. I can’t even go into a bank to cancel my transfers!?!? Please stop using online banking if you can’t accept every browser you’re just hurting your customers in the long run. I’ve run out of patience with ya’ll. So I’m calling MY BANK to refinance. It was real TFCU. Good luck with your browsers.

      Response from the owner

Hello Mr. Brown, we apologize for the inconvenience regarding the transfer and browser. Would you be willing to call Lisa directly at (520) 322-7429? We'd like to learn more about your concern, thank you.

Well, I am irritated. My husband who is a new customer, was really busy and needed to know your Saturday hours. First if all your site is confusing, then it says it's closed... Reopens at 9:00am(Saturday) could never find the closing time on Saturday. I read other folks reviews about customer service here. I will, of course decide myself, but looking at the poor ratings, I am thinking twice before I bring my accounts here.

      Response from the owner

Hi Janet, I apologize for the confusion. Saturday hours are 9am to 1pm, however our Marana and Sahuarita Fry's Branches are 9am to 3pm on Saturday. I hope we have the opportunity to exemplify exceptional customer service in the future. Please email us at [email protected] with any additional suggestions or comments that may help us improve our service.

Sadly inefficient. Apparently none of the staff stays very long. The left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. They promise big but can't get their story straight from one week to the next. I only started a relationship here as a joint owner with a family member. In hindsight, I should have just said no. This is more like a HOA or club than a bank. Sometimes Home Owners Associations get taken over by Little Princes & Princesses, to the detriment of all. Life is too short to spend it hassling with amateurs trying to play banker.

      Response from the owner

Hello and thank you for bringing your experience to our attention. We strive to provide exceptional service and would appreciate the opportunity to discuss your concerns. Please call a member of our Operations Support Team at 520-322-7429.

Terrible service at this branch on multiple occasions. Head to the Speedway and Alvernon branch if you want to be treated like a human being. Management needs to be reevaluated at this branch forsure because every other branch I've been to has been perfectly fine.

      Response from the owner

This place is the best example of horrible customer service. They always have tellers and mangers who are rude, and never consistent on the procedures to cash my retirement annuity check. They say they need to put a hold on the check on some visits, and on other visits they cash it on the spot! Just all around a poor service experience that I took my business else where.

      Response from the owner

Piss poor business ethic. I went to a credit union in Phoenix that TFCU participates in shared branching with to make a withdrawal. The teller tells me she’s getting an error. I check my account and see all my money is there and an inquisitive as to what the error is. I call Tucson Federal and advise of the problem. The woman at TFCU advises that they no longer participate in shared branching. I said “interesting... I never received a call or an email advising of this change.” She says “sorry.” I said ok... so because you guys chose not to communicate a change in your institution that could affect your customers and their finances, I now can’t access my own money and won’t be able to resume my education Monday when classes start.” Again, “Sorry.” I will be withdrawing every every dime I have in my TFCU account as soon as I’m back in Tucson and closing my account. TFCU, participate in some business ethics training and have some regard for your customers that have been with you for years.

      Response from the owner

Hello Nikaylee, we apologize for the inconvenience and would like to discuss your concern further. Please call Peter at (520) 351-5000 to discuss this with a manager.

Can't wear a ball cap. Might be insignificant for them, but it's rude to be told. Reason is for their safety, so I suppose I'm a threat with over on? It was a U of A champion cap, real scary! Maybe they meant for camera Id when they get robbed, so A) they're safety doesn't change whether robber wears a cap or not, and B) I doubt the robber will remove his cap when told. The only thing this policy does is upset customers there to just do business. This week I'm closing my accounts for only this policy.

      Response from the owner

Brian, We’re terribly sorry for the disruption that this policy has caused. We are grateful for your membership and would love the opportunity to discuss it further. A TFCU representative will reach out to address your concern. Thank you, Tucson Federal Credit Union

Highly dissatisfied with the lack of accountability and professionalism at this branch, you will not get it at the other locations. After being here for almost 9years I'm done with this trash! Try it for yourself if you're into let downs and a kindergarten management, they're attitudes are not local, they're big bank mentality.
