      Do not do business with Sun Trust Bank them. They will close your account and not tell you until you try to use it. Then tell you when you call that you will receive your funds and a letter explaining why they closed your account in approximately 15 days from this date. Upon further phone calls and complaints, now they insist the fraud department closed the account and refuse to tell me why. They are the ones that should be closed permanently.

      Worst SunTrust branch I've ever been too. They never follow their posted hours and service always falls short.

      This business doesn’t even deserve a star. I opened an account. 2 days later I went get some money from my account, and I was told their fraud department closed my account and I had to wait for a check in the mail. I was given no other information. When it comes to money no one should be treated this way. It has been over 2 weeks now ( Christmas is in less than a week away) and I still have no resolution or reasoning for why this is happening. I also still don’t have my money. Never use any sun trust bank

      I have banked with Suntrust for over 30 years. All of a sudden there are so many changes and not with just with the BB&T Merger (Truist) but policies that make it hard to do business in small town branch inside a Walmart. I really dislike having to do my banking in this environment, but where I live it's the only choice for Suntrust. 1st they eliminate max allowable mobile deposit so I have to show up at this branch to deposit my checks. Today they tell me that they have done away with deposit slips. What??? So... ok it's the digital age, I'm old school but I'll play along. So I give my checks to the teller and explain to him what I need and it's a pretty sizable check so I'm getting emergency cash back and what I received was an exact reverse of what I had asked for. The amount of cash back was deposited in my account and the amount of deposit went to cash back. I understand mistakes but when I called customer "no service" to get an explanation on why there were no more deposit slips that provide direction to the teller, I was on the phone for 32 minutes. Who has this kind of time? I'm shopping for a new bank.

      Waited 20 minutes for one of the three tellers to even acknowledge me. No one else in line, they were uninterested in helping me. Cashing a Suntrust check, from my customer, I was asked to provide a debit card in addition my driver's license for verifiation! No bank In town ever needs more than a driver's license to cash a check. Why does this bank want to see my debit card from another bank? I don't trust these people. I would never let anyone I know open an account at SunTrust. They also were going to charge me $7.00 to cash the SunTrust check from my customer. This place has all the smells of scam!

      This place is ridiculous. Every time come here it’s a 30 minutes or more wait! There were only two people in line today with two tellers. I’m asking my boss to switch banks because this place was a waste of time. I also always hear people in front or back of me in line saying they have problems with their accounts. If you go to SunTrust make sure you bring a good out chair with you while you wait for your money. Sucks ass.

      The bank itself and the people who work there are great. The reason for the 3 star rating is 1) the fact that the bank is inside walmart. And 2) the ATM is very prone to malfunctions. I tried to deposit $300 at the atm and it stole $210, spat the rest back out and told me my transaction couldnt be completed. Customer care took care of the issue the following day but be prepared for atm issues. The atm rarely works on friday and saturday nights, it has issues with receipts, and it locks your card in then takes 5 minutes to ask for your pin. This is very alarming when you cant cancel the transaction and get your card back. If the ATM is acting funny in any way, do not try to make a cash deposit. Its gotten to the point whete i dont even use the ATM anymore. Be careful yall. Even with this location's issues it is still beter than having to deal with delta credit union.

      Can I give negative stars??? If I could I would. This is the WORST bank in the history of banks. Each time I come here the wait time is at least 30 minutes, if not more. They open new accounts through their teller lines instead of taking them aside. They need extra workers to open accounts and deal with account problems rather than holding up people who are just trying to deposit or cash checks. Before giving this negative review I thought I would just give it time to see if they worked out their issues. I gave them time and it hasn't gotten better. I'm going to beg my employer to switch banks so I don't have to waste part of my day every time I want to make a deposit on their behalf.

      Only because we have to rate SUNTRUST itself is why I'm giving them a 1 start. Valdosta needs a separate Suntrust bank so that customer don't have to go into Walmart for their banking needs. The ATM Machine is HORRIBLE. I've had moments of my card locking up and you can't cancel your transaction in the midst of it so you have to wait, it has malfunctioned when taking money even though I have smoothed out the bills. The ONLY reason why I still bank there is because of a few individuals who work up front who remember your name when you come in and become a family as well.
