Joyce Vuiller1Since BB&T merged with SunTrust to form Truist the customer service and deposit situation is the worst! I have accounts with this bank - always deposit checks since I am a Real Estate Broker...Never was a hold put on my deposits for funds available they would always be available within 24/48 hours....now with Trusist it will take 10 business days!!! How am I to run a small business with funds being held from a government run bank? I will be closing all of my accounts proceeding to Navy Federal where I also bank. If I were a new depositor looking for a bank....turn around and run from Truist this merge which would want you to feel comfortable has put myself and many others less exception towards this banking institution. I did a mobile deposit they said funds available tomorrow....guess they don't want you to go to the brick and mortar.

Jim Berryman1I have banked with BB&T for years with no issue. Since the Truist merger I have had problems with online banking, getting anyone to answer the phone at the branch, and the quickest I have been able to get someone to pick up at their main service phone number is 45 minutes. When someone did answer they had to switch me to another department which an additional 25 minutes. When that department answered, I was told they needed to switch me to yet another department. Before beinth transferred I asked them to listen to specifically what I needed. The person then said I needed to talk to someone at the branch. I went to the branch and waited 85 minutes to speak to someone. The person said she would have to have her research group pull the information and she would call me the next day. She did not call and so today I need to wait again at the branch. This merger was poorly managed.

Sherry Easter1Don’t bother trying to call and schedule an appointment. The phone rings but is never answered. Don’t bother trying to schedule the appointment online either. That doesn’t work. Don’t bother going in….the one person who has given good service (Ray) in the past has left…no wonder!!! So I sit with a fill in banker…who has to get advice from the branch manager. Then I’m told I’ll need to return to finish my business. I tell the banker I need to get in the safe deposit box. He tells me I need to get in line because a teller has to let me in. Well guess what…I’m number 9 just to get into the safe deposit box! I come back for my 1pm appt. The 12noon appt is still waiting to be served. My sister is on her lunch break. It’s 1:32, and I’m still waiting to be seen. My advice….take your business elsewhere! Truist is a JOKE!!! I’ve never received service this poor ever! ******I’d like to add this. Kelli Bryant is the shining star! She cares about her customers and tries very hard despite horrible conditions that are obvious to all the customers. ******I saw Marquis today. He did an excellent job. Hopefully Truist will Continue to get their poor employees some help!

Shay1This has got to be the worst bank ever. I had BB&T for a year and loved it. Ever since it's changed I hate it. So I came to this branch to cancel my accounts. Only to find out they didn't so now I'm overdrawn and bills were taken out because they decided to not cancel it. Worst service ever especially when I have to wait over an hour for them just to cancel it. DONT COME HERE OR MAKE AN ACCOUNT WITH TRUIST.

Katherine Lett1February 20th 2022 worst transition a large financial business has ever done. Payments not applied correctly from that day to present day. SO disappointed, dissatisfied, and mentally drained from dealing with this incompetent handling of peoples financial lives.

Dodd Coleman2BB&T used to be a great place to do banking. But lately their service is awful. Sometimes they won't even answer the phone. Which is unacceptable. Especially since you can't go in w/o an appointment. How the heck are you supposed to do business with them? The person who handles personal loans, I won't mention names, is highly unprofessional. Doesn't return phone calls. When you do try to reach her, she is either not in or gone for the day. Her voicemail says do not leave a message. When you speak to someone at BB&T about that they say it's ok to go ahead and leave a message. Highly unprofessional. I have been a BB&T customer for many years. Thinking seriously about changing banks.

Jami Queen5I had my checking account hacked by someone this weekend and they charged $1200 worth of fraudulent charges to my account. I was frantic and upset. I came to the Mechaniscville Branch to get the problem resolved. Ray Gordon was the young man that helped me and he was amazing! He was patient, very knowledgable and so accommodating to me. He didn't rush me and he explained everything that was going to happen(which is a lot) and he assured me that he would follow up with me on the updates. Ray has waited on me through the drive thru and he is always so pleasant! BBT/Truist is very lucky to have an employee like Ray Gordon because I was ready to stop doing business with BBT but because of Ray’s actions, I am going to stay with them. I give Ray 5 stars!

shirl peyton1I've been with BB& T close to 20 years and lately the service has been disappointing. Yesterday I looked online to make sure this branch would be open so this morning at 10 a.m. I arrived to make a withdrawal I noticed several cars pulling in and out and the branch is closed so I called and the voicemail said this branch is open from 9-12. If your not going to be open change your hours online and your voicemail. Save your customers the inconvenience of driving there to find it closed.
