  I try and avoid this branch if at all possible. I've had great experiences at most every other branch, but there is a curly haired woman who works behind the desk here that is extremely rude and offensive - and to add injury to insult, she often gives out wrong or incomplete information. I've been a customer of BBT for over 15 years and have multiple accounts, a credit card and a mortgage with them, so you can imagine I've sat down with relationship bankers more then a few times - in other words, I know a few things. Anyway, as soon as you walk in the lobby, she comes off as annoyed that you are there. Her demeanor suggests that she is somehow better then you. The other older women seem intimated by her (these women have always been very sweet). I came in needing a cashier's check, she asked for my ID and then harrased me over the fact that it had just expired. I understand that there are policies that she needed to follow but I had other forms of ID however, she was so over the top condemning that I didn't even get a chance to tell her that. I was able to verify everything she asked me about my account and she still acted as though I was some hoodlem coming to steal a lousy $500 bucks. She had to let me out the front door since it was locked for closing time and she practically attacked a poor young couple just getting out of their car yelling "we're closed!" - they practically jumped out of their skin! This woman seriously needs to be taken care of- maybe some civility training??? I will definitely be traveling to another branch from now on. Not worth it, I don't deserve to be treated that way - and neither does any other BBT member.

  I tried to cash a check written from a BBT account. Because I don’t have an account there, they told me there’s an $8 fee to cash a check. I’ve never been back.

  Expensive fees, only one teller to take care of three drive thru lanes. Check costs are outrageous and do not come with deposit slips.

  Tried to open an account at the hedgesville branch.I called to know their hours and make an appointment.A lady answered the phone,said her piece and just hung up.Didnt even wait to hear my questions cos I work and was trying to know their weekend hours.Definitely taking my business elsewhere

  I had called to check the price on a box of checks, was told that the teller was too busy to help me and would call me later... I work at a bank also and this is something we would not be allowed to do.

  This bank has some of the most friendly and helpful people I have ever encountered in a bank .

  Banked with them for years friendly staff always very courteous and helpful good work gals
