k3nundrum1The only reason I haven't closed my account here is because of Aaron Beckwith, who I wish was at a different financial institution...His professionalism, personal touch and outstanding customer service have overshadowed the ridiculously long lines both inside and drivethru, the ATM being constantly out of cash, the inexplicable surcharges and horrible banking app. I sure hope they get their act together with this forever-merger into "Truist" or Im ditching them and taking Aaron with me wherever I go.

J Smith2I am forced to go here almost daily for work. With three drive thru lanes, one of them really needs to be marked "Single Transaction Lane." The people that transferred over from BB & T on Hershberger are awesome and super nice.

fds dfsaf1Was told today I could not cash my Kroger issued payroll check. I have been cashing my checks for a year with no problems. All of a sudden they only allow deposit of payroll checks which takes 1 business day to clear. Closing my account. I pay $10 per month for checking account and can't cash my payroll checks anymore? I'll find a different bank.

amanda wilkins1Do NOT bank here! You can’t cash your OWN payroll check even though you have an account. Also put a hold on a payroll check for 10 days!! Oh and that’s after they gave me 200 of it then took it back and held the full amount. Said “they didn’t know “ literally 4 people I spoke to said I’m not sure hmm I don’t know... seriously people?! Now I have rent bill etc due n late fees because they can’t verify the payroll check (same one I’ve been depositing there since I opened the account smh) same job over 8 years! I’m closing this account once my check Finally appears 😡 I’m making sure my grandma switches too they do not care about their customers.. they still get paid #Shame

Douglas Smith1Have been banking here for only a year and a half and since the start of opening the accounts, which took like 2 hours, almost like they had never opened an account before, I had been dealing with nothing but issues month after month. At one point I had saved $5,000 for a certification and a couple days before I pulled it out, they hit me with an overdraft fee on the end of the month and then an extended overdraft fee after the first of the month, to which I never received a call or a letter about this "overdraft" This issue was never resolved. Further, I tried cashing a $100 check I had received for my b-day, and they took it, and posted it, and then a week and half later, they pulled it and hit me with bounce check fee and overdraft fees... because supposedly the account it came from (mind you it has been over $5,000 for the last 10 years) did not have any money and they declared it a bounced check. When calling the bank the money was coming from, they said they had record of the check being cashed and the money being transferred and there was no issue. Suntrust said otherwise... again an issue that has YET to be resolved. Further more I have CDs that have grown to over $10k in the last 15 years... all of a sudden they have not accrued a single penny in the last year and a half. Their answer was that it was probably a low interest rate. (yeah very low like 0%, like the account is not actively a CD or something). Again, another issue that was not resolved. Oh, and good luck doing direct deposit, specially if you are a veteran as I have given the Veterans Administration the direct deposit sheets 6 times and every time I get a letter from the VA stating that something on Suntrust's side went wrong and they kicked it back. And best of all, ask a question and get one answer, go to the next teller, and get a completely different and contradicting answer to the first person, and if your lucky to find a branch with 3 tellers... you can get 3 different answers. "If you deposit a check it "should" clear that day if you deposit it before noon or 9am... possibly, and maybe. Not sure really, let me ask my manager" to which the manager says "oooooh that's a good question, i'm really not sure on that one" REALLY??? You are not sure on how the deposit process works, and when it posts and why it can post and then be in holding for a week even after the check has cleared??? really? Bank with "Confidence" and go somewhere else... like ANYWHERE ELSE! just saying. oh and by the way, if you close your account, they might just open it back up with out telling ya and then hit you with charges and fees and not say anything at all, only for you to check your credit report and see that you are delinquent in the amount of hundreds of dollars for an account you closed last year!!! Banker beware!!!
