Lucy Silverio1The bank underwent what they call, (when you finally reach a human (in the Philippines) after waiting an hour on the phone chain) a “migration”, instead of them calling themselves SunTrust now they call themselves Truist. They closed their branch which my mother could use easily now she can’t find her ATM. Google still shows the bank located at the old office the phone number doesn’t give any new location - calling a name change, a migration- is par for the course the whole thing has been clumsily done with no consideration for the clientele-so frustrating!

Tyler R1I am a new resident to Florida. I opened a checking and savings account with this SunTrust bank. 4 days later I can't login to my mobile app. I call and get told my account was closed due to fraud. They are now holding my funds and closing my account. I am a business owner and never even used the account for a single transaction. I have since discovered this is a common problem and there are countless law suits pertaining to very similar situations. My lawyer is investigating this. DO NOT BANK WITH SUNTRUST. I am so stressed and have no access to my own money. So bizarre and unethical.:(

Evelyn Bailey1I live behind SunTrust Bank in Quails Run, this is a retirement community with most of the residence are on a fixed income. We share the private road with the bank. We were told that SunTrust Corporate would not even contribute $250 to help maintain their entry way. This bank is not community friendly and should be ashamed of themselves!!

Amie Marse5Best bank experience ever? I'm currently in the middle of relocating to Florida. I'm coming down from Kentucky and my Dad is coming over from Colorado. We're going to be living together during his retirement. Since we are moving to the sunshine state...and my Dad is one of those people who always uses the inside of banks, we decided to switch to something a bit more local. This past Wednesday during a house hunting trip to Englewood we strolled into a branch of +Suntrust Bank. It looked like the branch was inside a converted library or something. We walked in at 1pm hoping to miss the lunch crowd.... There's nobody in the place. Two friendly looking tellers and a couple other employees but not any more customers. There were a few tables spread out and a girl behind one of them jumps up and welcomes us to Suntrust when we were a good 15 feet away. Her name is Jamette and she took the best care of us that we could imagine. We sat down with her to explain our situation. Joint house account and a separate savings account for my Dad's pension stuff. This whole thing could have had a bow on it in about 10 minutes. Instead, we heard about Jamette, the bank and the area. We also shared a lot about how we like to bank, why we were moving, etc. Jamette explained a lot about how the different accounts work and emphasized that if we had any problems that we could just come by or call. The whole thing took a whopping 103 minutes, an hour and 43 minutes. I could get used to this! By the way, the whole time we were in the branch I think we saw 5 or 6 people come in? Then, to top off this great experience our new banker Jamette called me on my cell the next day on our way out of town to let me know our cashier's check had cleared. I could see on my online banking that she must have done some magic to cut that clearing time. It was one of those huge cashier checks to get us started down in Florida but we would need to turn around and get a cashier's check pretty quick for the new rental place. It used to be cashier's checks would clear right away but apparently everything is forged these days so cashier's checks are only about a half step above personal checks anymore. I told +Laura Hancock that we need to look at Suntrust for the +Content Equals Money account. This is worlds apart from any attention we've received at a +Chase. A banker that takes close to two hours to chat with you? Makes a point to make you feel welcomed? Makes follow up calls? I'm not in Kansas anymore. Thanks Jamette and +Suntrust!
