Never enough staff. Buying and merging banks isn't what's needed if you can't run a regular branch location correctly. The counter cashiers are doing as much as they can, but shouldn't everyone in an office there be prepared to jump on the counter and help rather than ignore customers and just stare? Might be time to move to a Credit Union after years and years of gradual decline for BBT - Truist

By far the worst bbt branch ever! I have a business banking account and every week this branch puts a 7-14 day hold on all my checks since I opened my account!! I deposited money orders that I purchased to deposit in my account with receipts and this branch put a 7 day hold on it. I awaited as I usually do and Im on day 9 and it still had hold on it. I went to another branch in Greensboro and the banking manager went through my accounts and was unsure of why they keep putting long holds on my checks anf money orders but said if I would have bought the money order to her branch it would have been deposited the same day. The money order was only for $500!!! The tellers also have THE WORST attuides especially the older lady that works the drive through. I can never get an appointment with the banking manager till 3 to 4 weeks out to express my frustation so now instead of dealing with the Burlington branch I drive all the way to Greensboro to do my affairs. The branch is HORRIBLE especially if you bank business with them. I have to frequently deposit checks and have these stupid unknown holds on them but when I deposit them with another branch I dont have this issue.

The atm always has an issue. Either you can't deposit or pull out cash. What's the point of having an atm? Gota drive 30 miles just to deposit some cash. They close before 6 so people who work til 6 pm can't even do anything until the weekend. Horrible. Worst bank I have ever used.

Much like a lot of other people, this branch has put a 7-14 day hold on every single check I've deposited. When I call the issuer of the check they inform me the checks have been paid and I should have the funds available but NO this bank holds YOUR OWN MONEY FROM YOU. I've called the branch numerous times to get this resolved and my calls are either ignored or I end up having to leave a message, and I never hear back. After my most recent check posts i'm CLOSING MY ACCOUNT WITH THIS AWFUL BANK-THIS BRANCH IS AWFUL!!

At first I liked this bank. They processed things relatively quickly and their app’s UI was pretty easy to use. Their incompetence showed when someone hacked into my account. They froze my account, which is preferable. Obviously, I don’t want strangers withdrawing money from my account. However, THEY DIDN’t TELL ME ANYTHING AT ALL. I had to spend hours on the phone just to be told to go to a physical location. Then, I was told the account was frozen until the final transactions solidified, which was frustrating since I had bills to pay, but it was understandable. For context, the reason my account was frozen was because a fraudulent check was deposited for nearly four grand. Since I wasn’t the one who deposited it, it was withdrawn and my account was frozen and to be closed. A few days later, they charged me the three grand they already withdrew, and tried to charge me an overdraft fee!!! I again visited them, and after arguing with a demeaning staff member, the error was rectified. That same day, I asked about my paycheck. It’s auto deposited, and it the papers had already been submitted before I could inform my supervisor of my situation. They said since my account was frozen, any deposits would bounce back to the sender. They advised me to to visit my employer to accept an alternative form of payment. Since I had bills coming up, my plan was I would collect my check, make a new account, and just wait for my old account to close to collect my remaining funds. The following day, my payday, the check went through!!!! $200 went into an account, and when I spoke to them about it, they gave me the, “there’s nothing we can do.” A few days later, the day my final transaction solidified, I went to the bank to collect my remaining funds and open a new account. This entire time, mind you, they told me I could come in the day after they processed my last pending transaction, I could initiate the aforementioned account management. NOPE! They said I needed an appointment, and they were booked for weeks. I had only three days before I would start being charged late fees. I demanded the manager call me later that day, or I would start protesting outside their building. Later, the manager did call. He explained I could collect my remaining funds, but I need an appointment to open a new one. With a very raised voice, I declined an offer, and I found a new bank that could take me then and there. The irony of it all is when I initially opened the account, they emphasized how well they supposedly handled their account security, especially fraudulent occurrences, but this couldn’t have been handled any worse than I could imagine.

The team has always been friendly. I was in a crunch today to get something done unexpectedly and they accommodated me really well. I have worked with the business lending department for years and have recommended them to many people. Perry Bullard is the best!!!

I cannot stand y’all as a bank. F-. 0/5. Two thumbs way down. ATM is broken yet again tonight at 5:30, ensuring my money won’t get deposited today. I can’t even contact phone support to report this and help the four other cars stacked up in line behind me thanks to the circular menu options. I know the management here does not care because they don’t have the decency to call anyone back despite numerous polite requests. Thank god my vehicle loan is now with BMW and not BB&Fee. Cannot wait to completely dump you guys after almost two decades.

Its a bit ridiculous I put 500 dollar check in and they are only giving me a 100 back on till tomorrow.why is it I can go to Wal-Mart and they can give me money no problem.why do I pay y'all every month when you keep my check.its my money that I worked for and they should only hold half of it. Wells Fargo even gives more than that might be shutting my account b/c its crazy.

I went to this BB&T now Truist to deposit the check. The place was not crowded and service was easily done I came during the lunchtime crowd and most of them were using the drive-thru ATM. The rest hope the crowd went through the drive-thru window. The tellers were very friendly and talkative to help people with their day and see how their day was going you can hear it from inside the office as they talk through the microphone. All in all it was a pleasant experience for this place this place actually is a very large BB&T spot with a lot of different groups underneath it in the same building so like that you don't have to go very far to get things done if you're working with the DMT

Takes way too long for a single transaction. This is a constant problem. Either become more efficient or hire more people. I love BBT, but this particular location operates like we're still in the 80's. And a $15 charge to print a certified check is BS!
