Worst baking experience ever. Repeatedly met with fees and tellers reminding you that "those are part of our standard fees" You want to access your money? FEE! you want to save your money? FEE let your money sit too long? FEE access your money too often? FEE use MINT or quickbooks? FEE

When BB&T acquired National Penn Bank we were worried that they'd start charging fees for our non-profit checking account. We didn't need to worry; Like Nat Penn, BB&T also serves the communities that they operate in. The tellers are great and recognized me the second time I entered the lobby.

Ever since BB&T took over from Susquehanna I have been very disappointed. I've gotten several overdraft fees, thanks to "new rules" regarding mobile app deposits that I was never notified about. When I call and/or talk to them in person, they are unable/unwilling to budge. Even some of the tellers have admitted that they can't stand it since BB&T took over. I won't be banking there much longer. My advice: bank elsewhere. Try Diamond Credit Union.

I made a deposit and the ATM ate it. Long story short I rang the bank. The woman was very rude and said it is just my word there was a problem. Basically prove it! I had the date/time. I couldnt believe the attitude!!! I went in person and another teller was very nice and straightened out the problem. No attitude and didnt accuse me of anything. There was no need for bad attitude. That's how staff can treat customers? WOW

My wife and I have banked with National Bank of Boyertown since 1960. We had our first mortgage with NBB and have three other accounts there, all free demand deposit accounts. When BB&T acquired National Penn Bank we worried that the 403(c)(19) accounts we had with NPB would begin being charged. We needn't have worried; BB&T understands their national charter requires them to provide service to the communities where they do business. I wish the three other banks and one credit union we had accounts in understood that. As finance officers of our 403(c)(19) organizations, we have a fiduciary responsibility to keep the costs to the organizations at a minimum. It doesn't make sense for those other banks to charge ten to fifteen dollars a month so we can have access to OUR money. The tellers at the BB&T Perkiomen Ave. location are friendly. They all recognized both my wife and me the second time we came into the branch! What is more important they have been able to handle changes, and answer questions that we thought would require an appointment with a manager. Their drive-up window and 24 hour telephone assistance are pretty good too. And BB&T on-line banking is great too; after 50 years of marriage we were accumulating way too many paper statements. Discovering that the two locations in Exeter Township are open until 5:00 every night, except Saturday they close at noon (6:00 on Friday), pretty much puts BB&T over the top in providing convenient service. They are 5 stars+ in every way.

Kathleen was very rude when I entered the building. They greeted me as normal, but as soon as i got to the counter and said what I needed to do, the attitude and disrespect came out. I was not impressed. Very unprofessional. Will not be going back to that bank.

Several visits to this branch in the past few weeks. All have been positive experiences where I felt valued as a customer.

When bbt first opened I loved this bank(Exeter branch) I’m not sure what has happened since truist took over but this has become the worst bank ever.
