Truist Reviews

Kendall Spaziani5I opened my account online and came here to do some paperwork. I had previously considered banking with SunTrust but was so turned off by another branch. I met with Flo today and she’s amazing. So personable, professional, and knowledgeable. I had been banking with USAA and it’s been so long since I’ve sat down with a banker. I was blown away by her, and even the fact that the branch manager came over, introduced herself and shook my hand. 1000% recommended this location based on my first impression. I was nervous about SunTrust in general over the negative reviews- but this branch and particularly Flo have me excited knowing I made the right choice.

Hank Campbell1This branch is not that great and SunTrust overall is an awful bank. Where do I begin with all my issues? Left Wells Fargo to come to this bank (big mistake on my part). Waited over a month to get my Visa Debit Card. Branch mailed it to their office versus my home mailing address. Sent emails and phone calls to branch that went unanswered. Had to contact CEO office to get that sorted out. Tried to wire funds to a friend through Zelle. It got hung up and SunTrust had an issue where customers could not use Zelle for over a week! Everytime you go outside of state lines they will block your access to cash at other ATMs. Fraud detection system they have is the pits. Had a family member several months ago open an account. About a year later they shut her debit card down advising she failed to sign a document. The bank lost it. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH SUNTRUST. I "trust" them with nothing and they can't do anything right.

Beverly Raile1I’m so livid right now!!! For starters I went through the drive-through to cash a check when I realized that my ID was expired not for long Bank teller asked for a second form of ID which I gave her my debit card then she wrote all over my check hands it back to tell me that she could not cash it now no other bank and/or check cashing place will except it because she’s put her stamps and signatures all over it 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

Marilyn Boscato1SunTrust bank is not a transparent bank. They are scamming people with these overdraft fees. Fees appear on their banking system but not on your online banking platform. This is fraudulent on their part and there need to be an oversight committee looking into this institution. A small a Wells Fargo scam.

Lewis Phillips1Suntrust is simply behind the times. Checking to checking transfers between suntrust account holders takes 2-3 business days, other banks are instant. No temp cards can cause major inconveniences in otherwise easily overcome situations. I almost feel bad leaving this location a 1 star. I know the major issues are not directly influenced by this local branch, but their awful drive thru ATM was the icing on the bad cake. They also didn't want to close an account because they couldn't authenticate my wife....with three forms of government issued ID. Another suntrust failed to check a box in the system, apparently. It's ironic though, all of her cards, statements, and everything else show the corrected name, but the corrected identity can't be authenticated to close an account..just opening new ones. We are going back to Bank of America, the land of the 21st century.

Annett Ward1This is the rudest bank branch ever. They act like they hate people. I hate having to go there. I’d love to switch banks if it wasn’t such a pain. The worst experience every single time.

Ally Viccaro1Let me start by saying I am not a person to leave reviews but this place is so bad I had too. The absolute WORST location of any Sun Trust I have ever been too. Drive thru took so long to get an answer from someone while we were the only car out there. Went inside and got the rudest, most horrible treatment from the manager. Never will we come back to this location solely because of the rudeness we received from the manager.
