  Get placed on hold to research the issue and then get hung up on. Try to pay extra on my mortgage payment and they misapply the additional $$$ that i pay to draw out the length of the loan. Called in May to have a 'cash correction' done for one of my payments & it still hasn't been done. Talked to a supervisor today and said that it should only take 72 hours for these to be completed and that mined was just overlooked. They always offer to send an email to another dept to have the situation handled but never get taken care of.

  This company is a RIP OFF company, they bought my mortgage, I had my mortgage on a automatic withdraw with old mortgage company, after the transfer, my automatic withdraw was not up date with SPS, GUESS WHAT, they charge the amount of my old payment, "PLUS" 5,000.00 in late fees, they said my contract allow then to charge. Guys $5000 in late fees for two months??? Money was in the bank available, automatic payment not up date and this big surprise. Thank GOD I was able to pay and not loose my home, image a person that makes minimum wage, would have to pay 5,000 in extra fees. I had my payments organizer, balance was there available, they bought my mortgage, they stay quit, in purpose to make dishonest money $5000. I am telling the thru. Believe me, run away from this company. This is a abuse of power. It was a hard day for me, but GOD it will charge this money back on my behalf.

  Horrible place to work! Trainers doesn’t want to train they just throw you on the phones without any experience because their to lazy to train you . No having mortgage experience this is the worse place to work!

  Worst customer service. I spoke to 9 different people and no one was able to help me. They transfer you around and around to the wrong department in order to not actually help at all. No one knew what they were doing. Very disappointed.

  Please just take this as negative 5 stars. HORRIBLE COMPANY!!!! If you need any sort of extension on your loan, don't even bother. They will have you sending in paperwork for two straight months, then simply keep adding more and more paperwork to the list even when you are told you only need one last thing. They do it simply just to drag things out and probably foreclose on you. They wouldn't take the massive shutdowns from covid under consideration when most people were out of work all of 2020. Even with that, we never missed a mortgage payment to these vultures. Again, HORRIBLE COMPANY!!!!!

  SPS owes me over $46,000, for an insurance claim.They guaranteed me that the money would be delivered in 7-10 business days by regular mail. 3 weeks have gone by and somehow they lost my check so now they have to cancel the check and make me wait another 3 weeks. On top of that since they collect my mortgage they are demanding me pay it when they have failed to pay me. I feel I have no choice but to sue them for back interest, interest due on credit cards I can't pay because of their failure and their failure to meet their fiduciary responsibility as a financial institution as laid out in Dodd Frank.

  This is a mortgage servicer supposedly, but the only way to be successful is to be a collection agent type with 70-80 2 minute calls Daily!!!. Customer service is not important and only a few In mngt are mildly interested in employees. Bonus structure is so confusing, and so much more that is not right with this place. Mngmt has favorites and if you complain you are targeted. Watched SO many people fired or leave in the year I was there. People are stuck with companies that handle their mortgages and pray this is not yours...HR are truly lacking in all the can do to help Employees. I pray for customers that have been told the company would help them when it’s unlikely as we were told different info to explain to them. It’s a relief to not have to feel guilt about lying or stretching trusts or dates to them any more. Look into where you are going to work. Blessings

  Absolutely the worst customer service. I don't understand why it takes 7+ business days to get a payoff quote. I requested on a week in advance of closing and they still have not sent it over to my title company. if you don't to be homeless for a period of time like me, I would suggest requesting this a month in advance!

  I’ve been paying my mortgage to this company for several years now. My previous lender sold my loan and I ended up with SPS. In the very very beginning I remember the 1st of the month arrived and yes mortgage is due on the 1st HOWEVER, you have until the 16th to pay without being late or any fees charged. Well SPS would have LIVE & AUTOMATED voicemails blow my home phone up starting the 1st I’m talking anywhere from 3-6 calls per day! The messages would say we are attempting to collect a debt that you owe us. If I would call whomever answered the phone wouldn’t ask how may I help they would ask am I calling to make a payment on my mortgage that’s due. Mind you, while entering your info in the system to get connected to a phone rep you’ll hear: this is an attempt to collect a debt that you owe us. How are you attempting to collect a debt that is in factual a regular monthly bill that technically is NOT LATE YET? After a month or two of this I called them and LET THE PHONE REP HAVE IT!! I told them you all are harassing me and it’s illegal and if you don’t stop treating me like a bad customer I’m reporting you immediately! I told them if my bill is due the 1st and I have until the 16th to pay, then by law you cannot contact me until the 17th of the month AND if you do contact me it MUST BE IN WRITING! I told them to REMOVE my phone number out of their system and unless I become delinquent do not EVER call me again. They fully cooperated and have never called me again. As far as process is concerned, they faithfully prepare and mail my next month statement BEFORE my current month statement has closed. So my monthly statement is not ever accurate??? I’m in the process of refinancing my loan with a REAL reputable financial institution. Meanwhile, I monitor and have always watched my balance and while I’m probably being ripped off somewhere, my balance does decrease monthly which is what matters! I gave them two stars because they did back off when I challenged them and again my balance decreases monthly but OVERALL this company is some pure garbage!
