      BB&T, was great, like old town bank. TRUIST Financial VERY POOR customer support. No way to easily contact them. They removed their email address from their website. Don't have FB messenger. Phone call average wait time excess of 1 hour.

      The ladies there on 5/26/2021 at around 9-10:30 are honestly so amazing!! They deserve so many raises just for how sweet and caring and kind they are!! Those ladies are the absolute best people I have ever met and they deserve the best!! As someone with an account with them (my whole family banks with them) I recommend anyone thinking about banking with them ABSOLUTELY SHOULD! They care about their people and work with you anyway they can! Thank you BB&T ladies for helping me and being so kind to me throughout the whole process ❤️ We will forever remember and cherish your kindness THANK YOU

      UPDATED REVIEW from one star to four. Listed first followed by original complaint/review: BB&T did the right thing after a few days the hefty sum was returned to my account. In all fairness the debit was made due to a former business partner (not been with the business since 2008, and is not listed on the SEC forms) claiming bankruptcy. The fact was this persons name had not been removed from the account as a guarantor, hence BB&T seized the funds. Although i don't think it fair without a letter of intent or notice it has been done, especially since we have been with BB&T for well over a decade. ORIGINAL REVIEW: If you are a small business considering BB&T, don't. This is not the first disappointment we have had with BB&T, but it is the largest issue we have had and it amounts to the removal of thousands of dollars from our account by BB&T in what we view as unjust, done in a furtive and fraudulent manner. We have been with BB&T for 15 years as a small, local business, have had vehicle loans through them, checking, Credit cards and Debit cards with BB&T. I tried to get the problem resolved on a Friday evening when we were alerted to the transaction to our account which was not authorized. There is no one over the phone that could answer what happened in any substantive way. I can't even file a claim until AFTER the transaction has posted! To boot, I have to speak with a special department who has ...what else.....bankers hours. It is an amount in the thousands of dollars and we cannot this get remedied right away? Really poor business form BB&T. We will be taking our monies elsewhere, if there is anything left after your screw ups.

      This branch's bankers went out of their way to help me get cash from my credit card. When swiper didnt work they came out and did it with me until error was resolved. Atm always works as well. Ty for going out of your way

      Until this bank became 'Truist", I loved it. The staff - at the branch and via phone, was kind, courteous, and proficient. The branch officers were amazing. The bank has been wonderful and I have banked with them for over 20 years. I miss our branch tellers and managers. I miss the excellent service. I miss the ethics of the BB&T Bank. Truist has come in and I am seeking a new bank - the sooner the better. My review for Truist is that the customer service via phone has been rude, disinterested and a waste of time. Now, they are blocking online access unless I agree to go paperless. That does not meet my needs. Not happy.

      This was bank had absolutely the worst customer service I have ever experienced! I came in to handle some VERY SIMPLE business and the teller became very rude when I respectfully questioned her information. Once I asked for the manager, she told me that she would tell me the same thing. I asked for the corporate number and she said "she doesn't know it" and didn't know where I could find it. Once I demanded the number again she then pointed me over to the manager who in turn, did not offer me the corporate number nor did she even invite me into her office to discuss any issues or complaints I might have. I told her I would just take my business else where and the manager stated "well they wont do it either". Needless to say, I carried my business down the street to Bank of America and they were able to finish the transaction that I needed.............without hesitation. I did, call the corporate office to file a formal complaint but that's after I "Googled" the number myself. I called back to the same branch and asked for names of the teller and the manager, and the corporate office number again once I left and they gave me another local number to call. Which, might i add, was a COMPLETELY different number then the actual corporate office that was needed to file a complaint.

      This Bank as a whole is unethical. I was just told point blank by an employee they disregard certain modules of their training, when they feel like it. Apparently they have been exercising this behavior for at least 4 years at the branch near me. DO NOT TRUST THEM WITH YOUR MONEY.

      Worst service ever. I’ve never felt so unimportant in my life. I wish Precious was still there. They charge you $5 to replace a damaged debit card. I could understand paying for a lost one but you have no control if your magnetic strip doesn’t work.

      I love this branch! The tellers are friendly, the specialist is helpful and charming, the manager was very helpful the one time I needed her help. Love 'em.
