Jason Powell1This Bank is incompetent and has no accountability. BB&T and SunTrust have their wires crossed and are totally unprepared for their merger. We are randomly being debited for a “loan payment” on a loan that was paid off in full over a year ago out of nowhere. No one at Truist can explain why or make a legitimate effort to help find out what’s going on. We visited the branch after getting nowhere through hours of phone service reps. The VP at the bank, Alan L., was friendly enough in person and said he would help, yet here we are 3 weeks later and he’s done absolutely nothing. Won’t return our calls or emails. A bank that can’t accurately keep accounts, recognize their mistakes, or explain why money is randomly being debited without client authorization doesn’t deserve anyone’s trust. Retail banking is a commodity, use one of the other dozens of banks in buckhead.

Roneshia Barker1Me and my brother will never come back to this bank ever again. My brother came to get his check cash And the man behind the counter told him he couldn’t cash it but then said he can’t tell him why… I’m started to think we was being racial profiled cause anybody before us was able too I guess they wasn’t black

John Johnson1Very poorly managed bank. I either SEVERELY understood information about opening a new money market account here or was severely misled. Since I received some follow-up calls. A trial account I thought would yield $25 last month yielded .08! There was a time my checking account, money market account, certificates of deposit, mortgage and retirement account ere all handled by SunTrust. Theirs was the second stock I ever bought. My safe deposit box was also there. Sadly, their service has declined with increasing velocity the last several years. I have gradually closed all but two accounts. The money market account will be closed this week, and other “services” will be terminated soon. Doing so is sincerely painful, but I don’t think I have a choice. So ends a well over 40 year experience with what I used to simply call “The Bank” and was proud to call “My Bank”. I’ll reluctantly keep the stock—for now.

Fakir One1I’ve banked with Suntrust for 15 years, left one of the other major left because the customer service was so bad, and was initially blown away by the customer service offered by Suntrust. Over the years their service has slowly declined, but nothing worth worrying about. The last 6 months or so is a completely different story. I guess that they have merged, and maybe that’s why, but they closed all of the branches that I used to use, literally all 3 or them, now I go to new branches and the staff at them are terrible. Terr-I-ble. Their online service has changed and has issues too, and a bunch of their ATMs don’t take deposits, I kid you not. They had to waive a bunch of fees for me because I showed them pictures of the ATM screens with no deposit ability. Today the branch staff refused to let my employee deposit a check written to cash, from my account, into another of my accounts, and were SUPER rude about it. I have a couple personal accounts, mortgage, and 3 business accounts with Suntrust, and like I said for 15 years, as of today I am shopping for a new bank. I’m done.

cherisa hawkins1This location intentionally renovated their building to block off their teller windows. So now you’re unable to drive up and do your banking now you are then forced to park in their incredibly small lot and go in. Once inside they only have one person working (even though two people are at the desk) so you have to stand in a long line for what you had hoped was a quick choir.

N Steakley1Have had many mortgages over the past 30 years, but have never had a worse experience than with our mortgage through SunTrust Mortgage. This was a “jumbo” loan and was implemented through a loan officer with whom has done almost all of our mortgages, but SunTrust’s service was absolutely horrific.
