Angel Chandler1I have banked at SunTrust for years. The policy now is you cannot go inside for regular banking, even wearing a mask. You must sit in the drive through line. Every time I come, no matter the day, I wait in long lines for 30 minutes, sometimes more, just to do simple banking. You go to any other bank and there's not the lines there are here. My wife has a Wells Fargo account, no long lines. I pay rent at my landlords bank which is First Bank, no long lines. I only here. It's ridiculous. I will be switching banks. I'm not doing this anymore.

Herb Brown5Robert was exceptional. I had called the suntrust help line resulting in no help. I decided to visit the branch and discuss my issues. Robert listened to my problem and took action. Problem solved in mere minutes. Good guy - patient and got the job done.

Jacqueline Anders1Horrible customer service. Do not bank here. IMPOSSIBLE to make a payment. I called asking ahead of time if my husband can make a payment for me they said yes as long as it was a check my husband drove there to make a payment with check and they refused a payment because they couldn’t verify that it was me since they didn’t have my ID.

Leishemba Akhamcha1Terrible service! I tried to transfer $1200 through Zelle to secure a rental apartment but the limit was $1000 and they put on HOLD on my Zelle account and now my I am locked out of my internet banking and can’t do anything!!!! Guys out there if you don’t want to be homeless or have uninterrupted banking kindly bank with a somewhat civilized bank! This is 2021!!!

John Passmore1BEWARE!! Suntrust is an anti-cash bank! They do not want citizens to use cash for any transactions, so they can track your every move. Try to make a payment on your spouses loan or make a deposit to their account and they will turn you away. My wife was treated like a criminal when she tried to make her car payment today, she had to prove her identity and provide her social security number. I called the bank to ask what was going on, the teller said this is something they do to prevent terrorists or drug dealers from laundering money. I guess I never realized drug dealers and terrorists were generous enough to make payments on a strangers loan, and that it would be considered a crime if they did. Still trying to figure out if he thought my wife was a drug dealer or a terrorist........Some other banks are doing this as well, so do your research before dealing with huge companies like this.

Chaz B.2No issues at the branch at all, the ladies there are awesome and I love dealing with them. The reason for the 2 stars is the mobile app is a mess. It won't open, doesn't show correct information, it tells me it's always unavailable if I manage to get the app to load. Also, I run into issues with direct deposit from my place of work and money transfers from Venmo, I've triple checked my info for accuracy but SunTrust won't allow ACH/EFT. So I will probably switch my primary financial institution.

Betty Thornton1We first had Trust Company that became Suntrust and after almost 40 years of dealing with them-checking, mortgage, savings, etc. had horrible nasty treatment from them from the manager down. We closed our accounts. This is how they treat loyal customers! I would give them 0 stars if possible.

Stacy Shepherd5I have been through a really difficult time. Jill Pence has been wonderful to me, she has been very patient with me during this unbelievable time in my life. She is the bomb!

Marjorie Polchow5The nicest experiences I've had at any SunTrust branch. The tellers are always friendly and I've never had any problems with the ATM either. Much better than the branch in SC I used to frequent.
