Truist Reviews

Cameron Gallagher1The bank as a whole: makes Bank of America look like Mother Theresa with the amount of fees they can charge. Fees can also stack. This location: minimal competence. Took 3 people to try to close my account. They were unable to. Unfortunately this seems to be the norm as I went to a branch in Bradenton 6 months ago for a wire transfer and had to wait 30 minutes as there was only 1 person who could do it and that took an additional 20 minutes. It's a slightly better experience than the tax collectors office.

James Christie1I have walked in to this branch of Truist (used to be Suntrust) several times and have almost always been greeted with, at best, indifference and sometimes rudeness. Even the employees have said how they aren’t happy working for Truist. I am the process of transferring several accounts to Synovus bank.

Michael Davidson1University branch no longer even there but still on their locator ! That was a waste of time and $ 10 bucks in gas then had to go to branch on North Trail ! Suntrust get your act together! Very unprofessional!

Frank Van Hullenaar1Went into the Branch today as I have done for the last 10+ years to have money exchanged. I was asked if I had an account for the first time, I said no I do not have an account and I was summarily rejected. I then was annoyed as I stated that I had always been treated as a potential client and that this type of service was probably due to the inability of the teller that she was too busy looking at her cell phone to help a potential client.! Needless to say I then went to the nearby PNC Branch and was welcomed and had my minor transaction completed. If you want to keep or grow you banking business maybe you should keep in mind that there are a lot of foreigners that have a lot of money, relay on having the availability of US Banks to help us through the transition. SUN TRUST WILL NO LONGER BE ON MY COMPANY'S FAVORITE CLIENT LIST!
