  Great experience! Very nice and friendly, extremely helpful and understanding! They called immediately after my gun arrived at their shop to set up an appointment for FFL for the next day. Unfortunately, I forgot to bring something important. Kyle was very nice and gave me an appointment for a later time for the same day to get it done. I can only say positive things and highly recommend them for anything regarding FFL!

  They told me they do 60 percent of spot when i walk in and then offered 54 percent of spot on gold. Do not come here. They lie and cheat people when they are having a hard time. DO NOT SELL TO THIS PLACE!!! RIP OFFS. WORST PRICES IN THE STATE!...i understand a troy ounce is 31.1 grams...you are assuming my math was referring to an ounce (28.35 grams not 26 fyi) I did the math for a true ounce in your shop when I told you it was not 60 percent you stated "I pay 12 dollars a gram"...does that change when spot changes??? Your reply to me obviously shows how you treat customers.

  I think your math is a little off, there are 31.1 grams to the troy oz not 26.

  Definitely offers less when it comes to buying your firearms then other pawn shops around town. Almost 50% more value at other shops.

  Hey Chris, Thanks for the review... we pride ourselves on paying more than the other shops around town. I will admit it can be difficult to find the exact model for comparison when it comes to firearms and therefore mistakes can happen. In any case I'm glad you were able to find the loan you needed.

  Supervisor was very helpful and kind. Employees, even while being very busy were patient with me while looking at different firearms. Would totally recommend if you are looking for a rifle or shotgun. Very affordable pricing and willingness to work with you. Would recommend anyone here.

  They have great customer service and are super fast. I love the variety of item they have in their shop ranging from tools, guns and even jewelry!! Did I mention they also do FFL transfers for way cheaper then most of their competition!

  Great prices, clean store and friendly employees! Thanks to their layaway program I was able to get a new computer and a PlayStation! both work excellent and I'm glad I didn't pay retail!

  I highly recommend Tropics Pawn. I've always had outstanding service, and they are the most knowledgeable, friendly group. The Prices are never too high, and they always have a great selection of high quality items. Plus their ring candles are amazing. And they smell delicious.

  If I could give zero stars I would!!! I dropped two firearms off to do a name transfer on January 10th. They said there would be a ten day hold which is fine. I called on January 24th and they told me it had not been completed yet. I made my next call on January 29th and they told me that they were having licensing issues and will hopefully begin again soon. My final call was today. When I spoke to them they said they are having licensing issues where Clark County will not be working with them anymore! They have had a few shipments where they took other firearms to another place that are working with Clark County. WHY HAVE I NOT RECEIVED A CALL?!?!?!!? I had to reach out to them to get this information!! They are refunding me which is great but now, I'm going to have to pay the other place (so it's really not a refund) AND I have to go fill out NEW paperwork and wait ANOTHER ten day hold plus whatever it takes for them to do the transfer!! I AM NOW SITTING AT ONE MONTH WAITING WITH ZERO ANSWERS!!! Why was there NO communication?! In response to the owner: How is is free when i have to go somewhere else and pay? I was told "any day now" a couple weeks ago and still yet, your place is still waiting.... I now have to drive ALL THE WAY ACROSS TOWN to somewhere I don't even know to do what you were supposed to.....

  Hey Jennifer, I am sorry for the inconvenience you have endured. We never anticipated it would have taken so long to reinstate our Washington license that I let laps. We anticipate it being reinstated any day now. Not only should you receive a refund, but we are offering a free transfer once this issue is rectified. Again, I extend my apology to you and everyone that has been caught up in my mistake.

  Got knocked off a ladder and broke my hips in 7 places. Got behind on some payments and needed some cash. Went to all the local pawn shops and Tropics was the one place to give me the best price for my guns. It took maybe 4 years to get them out and several times I was past the due date and they let me keep them. Can't thank you enough!!! If you ever need help I recommend you give them them a chance you won't be disappointed 😃
