  UPDATE - Changed from one star to zero, even though it won't let me put zero. This place deserves less than zero stars. Fraud Protection is way too over eager and just loves to lock you account on the weekend when the bank is not open and you can't fix it! Just trying to get lunch, and now I don't even have time to eat so I'll spend a full 10 hours with no food today. Thanks a ton, worst credit union ever. STAY AWAY!! Ill be vacating as soon as I can. I've been a member for 10+ years, and have been locked out of my account for trying to pay my rent. This is a transaction I do every month, for the same amount, to the same payee, from the same computer, and this time out of the blue I'm locked out. Of course, it's outside business hours and the only way to fix this is by calling. Maybe if you're going to block someone from their money you should have a 24 hour option to fix it. Regardless, now my rent will be late and I will be looking for a new credit union.

  We have been customers of TCFCU in Saco for years! They are fantastic. Great service, helpful with all of our financial needs, and always extra friendly. I highly recommend them.

  Update: Great customer service. Love the huge return on my checking account and the idea of keeping my money locally. I like how there is no maintenance fee like TD. I don't like the hours. I don't like the max withdraw limit of $500 my depot card. It has been a major issues quite a few times on the weekends when I need to buy something over $500 and I get locked out and can't get a hold of anyone. Initially their on line banking was a draw back its much better. Its not great, I would like to add nick names to my accounts and have all my accounts under one profile with one user name and password but it is a major improvement over the old system.

  Great experience setting up multiple accounts with Assistant Manager Drew. She was professional and quick in getting everything prepared for me. Several friends and family members had recommended this credit union, and I am glad I switched!

  Every single time I have EVER called ( I've had this account probably close to five years that's a lot of calls) I've been met with nothing but nasty attitude. I'm speaking exclusively about the one in South Portland by Maine motel. I absolutely would not recommend getting any sort of loans with them bc god forbid you hit a rough patch and have a few late but definitely made payments on one loan out of a few that have NEVER had any late payments etc. So for that mild situation what do you get treated like? Trash and will talk down to you like your the most illiterate and irresponsible person they have came across. I am disabled with two disabled children and it makes me sick they treat ppl like this yet pride themselves on working with working class people. This isn't even the tip of the iceberg with these ppl but I can say today is what did it in. We will be finding another bank to transfer car loans thru and we will recommend all to find another location or bank and good luck to those who keep scrolling thinking this is just one out of a few bad ones. It took me five years of bad experiences to make this one comment. It's well deserved on their part for sure.

  I had a horrible experience trying to get approved for a car loan through these guys. After submitting paper work was told I should have an answer by the following day. It took them a week later to get back to me. Never received a detail answer as to why I wasn't approved. Never again will I try to get a loan through this bank ever again. I wish I never took out a flex loan with them either.

  Good safe place to bank. No ripoffs. Nicole at my branch helped me out big time with loan consolidation. Ive been with them 8 years.

  Really stellar customer service experiences every visit. Above and beyond help with financial consolidations and always helpful when I have questions or concerns. Very personal and really like their app too!

  Deposited a Canadian check here, was told the funds would be available in 7-10 days, ended up waiting 2 months for my money to be available
