  I originally needed a short term loan, but then I took a sudden huge financial hit. I had no $ to make my payments and I missed my first payment inadvertently on top of it. I took all the $ I could come up with (not even a whole pymt., much less 2) and went to Titlemax. I explained everything to Nate and, instead of having to relinquish my car, I found a very compassionate person who was willing to accept what I had & gave me a little more time to catch up. I can't say enough good about Nate & Titlemax. While the interest is killer, when you have no choice, Titlemax in Palatine can be a life saver! Thanks so much, Nate!!! Titlemaxin Palatine!

  They took good care of me when I got myself in a crunch and needed a loan. They were even very consoling about the grief I was going through, as my pet hamster had passed away earlier in the day. He had gotten out of his cage somehow, made his way into the kitchen counter, and actually got himself stuck IN THE TOASTER. Then, during the struggle to release himself, he must have shaken the toaster hard enough to bang on the side of the fridge. I can only imagine the fear in the poor things eyes as my bottle of whiskey fell from the top of the fridge, only to land on the toaster lever, giving him a squeeze, and igniting the tiny wire hamster grill! However, In what must have been a dramatic turn of events, my power happened to go out right then!! My pet hamster was probably relieved for a brief time, but he knew he only had moments to escape the household - item - turned -heat-bringing death trap. He had to have struggled mightily, as was evidenced by the fur left in my toaster. A massive adrenaline rush surged through him, and with super-hamster strength he climbed his little way out of the jaws of death and onto my countertop! And then he heard it. Ring ring. Jingle jangle. Ring ring ring-a-ling. The sound that all hamsters fear more than anything in the vast world. He had probably forgotten about it with everything he had been going through to this point. An error that would prove to be his downfall. Time seemed to freeze around him for a moment, and he began to chuckle a little at himself at the irony of the situation. His muscles relaxed, as he somberly accepted the fate that he had found himself. He closed his eyes, and turned slowly. The sun warmed his fur through the window, something he had never really had the thought to be grateful for before now. At least in his last moments he was free, and warm. As he opened his eyes, it was there. It had come for him, and here it was. The Clydeus Nocturnus, the blackest of all black cats. He closed his eyes, and as he was about to give in to his destiny, a wild thought came to him; what if this wasn't the end? What if he fought this fate to change it? And with that, he turned towards the edge of the counter, and made a mad sprint for it. He could hear the pounding of the Clydeus' paws behind him, and feel the countertop tremble with each step. As he reached the edge of the counter, he leapt! Unfortunately, he had not accounted for the other monster that resided in this area - the Brutus Maximus. At least in this manner his death was a quick and honorable one, as the monstrous dog snatched him out of the air and swallowed him in one quick motion. Wow. Sorry, got sidetracked a little. But yea, this place is great for a loan when you need it. And they're nice. And consoling when the situation calls for it.
