TJ Masters1DO NOT USE THIS 'SERVICE' (SCAM IS MORE APPROPRIATE) I entered this program extremely skeptically. I feel I asked all the right questions, e.g. Can I pay off accounts early with no penalty, Will this reflect on my credit as 'paid in full' or will it be a settled account, etc.. They make all the right claims at the onslaught, but fail to honor them at all. I was told since I only entered 3 accounts, agreements should be reached within 3-4 months. At roughly the 6 month period, nothing had happened. I had called, emailed, kept up with it - all my payments were on time, etc. Finally I was told it would take between 7 months and a year for the first account to be agreed upon. At this point all of the accounts had been listed as not paid for over 90 days on my credit - credit which at the time of program entry only had 2 payments ever greater than 30 days late on 34 accounts. Then they bait and switch you, and you can no longer access the person that got you enrolled. They have refused (by not doing so) to call me back to address payoff desires, have refused to answer emails regarding offer letters from the creditors directly to me, and I have subsequently emailed them and told them to remove one of the accounts as I had to pay it off myself since they were doing nothing. This was after I deposited 12K directly to my account for them to pay things off. DO NOT USE THEM UNLESS YOU HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO OTHER AVENUE.

Harry Drennan5It is my pleasure to be able to complement this excellent company on their professional approach to business. Haley Stevens and the entire staff on dealing with my debt reduction and credit score improvement have been outstanding. They have responded to every question I have had with patience and courtesy. They quickly responded to the one suit I received from one of the clients they are trying to deal with. I feel completely comfortable with this company handling my financial problems.
Response from the ownerHello Mr. Drennan, Thank you for taking the time to leave us this feedback and for your review. We appreciate your thoughts. We'll be passing your feedback to our consultants about the great job they're doing. Warm Regards, The Client Experience Team Reference ID: GT2427540

Fox Estate1DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I just withdrew from this program and let me tell you how much of a scam this company is. First off, they will charge you 25% of your overall debt for settling your accounts. they will force all your accounts to go into collections. They make their money by charging you fee after fee and then force you to pay other ridiculous charges to have accounts get settled on top of that, they force you to sign a contract WHICH THEY DO NOT ADHERE TO!
Response from the ownerMr. Zimmer, we're very sorry to hear of your experience. Our escalated client agent has been able to reach you and address some of your concerns regarding the program. Though costs for programs can vary, there is also a commitment to deliver benefit in excess of any of those costs. Please be aware that a contract protects your rights and ours, and no client is 'forced' to enter into business with us - only those clients who want to experience incredible customer service while at the same time securing their financial future. We hope our additional discussions can alleviate your concerns.

Akchef Rob1Watch out for these scammers! There fees way exceed what the negotiable amounts that i have passed onto them. With my job loss they still do not and will not delay a payment for one month 😡. Even though there are some months that they didn't pay any of my creditors because they claimed that my $$$ payment was needed to cover their fees! Don't fall for their BS like i did!!! They claim that they don't charge fees until they settle! Not true i passed on some great settlement offers and they never responded to my creditors but the creditors who offered lousy settlement offers they responded right away! Why are they still in business?
Response from the ownerHello Mr. Akchef, Thank you for your feedback. We apologize for your experience, and our team has attempted to reach out to make things right. Timberline Financial is prohibited from charging fees until you have a settlement on your account. Clients must also approve of these settlements before a payoff plan can be put into place and fees assessed. You have every option to reject any settlement you feel unhappy with. We'd also be happy to review your unique plan with you, and help you understand why certain accounts may have been prioritized over others. Our goal is complete satisfaction and that you know you've received a valuable service. We will attempt to reach out again and touch base. Thank you!

Glen Bartley1My wife used their company and for a year they haven't resolved any of her debt. One of the creditors actually had her banking account suspended because they had been paid during that year. Now we are trying to resolve that issue with no help from Timberline. We went directly to the creditor and worked out a settlement and now we are trying to cancel our agreement with timberline but are being told we need to talk to senior management whom is never available to talk. We were on hold twice for over an hour and was told the senior management is in meeting or conference calls. Still haven't spoken to them yet about closing our account. When you talk to a customer service rep they are hateful once they find out what you are trying to do. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone needing help.

Michael Finan1Jessica Dawodu called me six times in five hours and twenty minutes. I was at work in meetings and doing other tasks and didn't have time to answer. She just kept calling and then would let my voice mail pickup up but wouldn't say anything so I just kept getting voice mails with a few seconds of silence. Do not use this company. This is a very rude and unprofessional way to act towards possible clients. I will definitely be taking my business elsewhere. Update (May 18, 2020): she won't stop calling me. I just received two calls this morning and it's only 8:57. Your reply is just an excuse. If someone was having that hard of financial issues they would call you back when they're able to. There is absolutely no reason for you to harass people like you do. You're just like shady used car salesmen. You should be ashamed of yourself for the way you act.
Response from the ownerHello - thank you for your feedback. We apologize that you felt our outreach was excessive. Our team of professionals often deal with clients who are facing difficult financial struggles where time is can be a critical factor. We will make sure we relay you concerns back to our financial advisor leadership team for a review of their client contact policies. Thank you again for making us aware - our goal is to provide all our clients (and prospective clients) an amazing experience.

Taina Adrianna's mom1My first month on the program the debted my account 4 times resulting in overdraft. They were only authorized once and then some larger random number came out. This is ridiculous if I’m going to you for financial debt consolidation don’t put my account in the red. I cancelled the service. They will be getting a bill from me for all fee incurred because of their negilence. They claim the fault was of a glitch... then why don’t other companies have these glitches. Save yourself the trouble and stay away.

Steve Nyhof5William was very kind and helpful. I was in a situation where once I understood more of my options, I chose not to move ahead at this time, but I felt good that what was offered as an option was practical for what I wanted to achieve. When you find yourself in a position where you need to do something to help with your financial situation, I do still recommend that you look into the options available at Timberline Financial. Once I learned what my options were I was able to make an educated decision for my next steps. Call Timberline Financial and talk through your options with someone like William. Moving ahead is up to you. Doing nothing will change nothing.

Stephanie Files1At first I was impressed with how comfortable they made me feel. Then I got sued twice for breech of contract. I didn’t understand why that would be if they were in negotiations. It turns out they were just ignoring the accounts! The monthly amount they told me didn’t come close to covering the payments. My credit is ruined and I’m paying more monthly than I was previously!
Response from the ownerHello Stephanie, We've attempted to reach out to you regarding the challenges you may have had with your plan. No accounts are ignored with Timberline Financial. Each account is mapped out in a timeline of when they can be settled and achieve maximum reductions for our clients. Though our clients experience a credit dip initially within the program, once you begin paying on settlements and closing accounts our clients can expect a gradual rise from there! The monthly amounts you pay into the program are designed to give you greater financial flexibility, and to experience immediate relief.
