  They did a really good job at explaining what was going on to us first time home buyers. If you called or emailed them a question they got back in touch with you pretty directly. We also closed pretty quick! Tidewater is a very good professional company with some very nice people! Dave Demmer will work day and night just to help you out. He is an amazing respectful person!

  Our experience working with Dave Demmer and the Tidewater Mortgage team was fantastic! It was so much better than our first experience purchasing with a different mortgage company, and we will certainly use Tidewater again in the future! Dave was always communicative and responsive, quick, and thorough. Because of his hard work we would have been able to close 2 weeks early had the sellers not had an issue that prevented them from doing so. I would recommend Tidewater to anyone looking to purchase!!!

  David was wonderful! He was there for us answering all our questions every step of the way. David kept us informed of what was going on and what the next step would be. He kept all the deadlines for the appraisal and the engineer inspection. He saved us $1200 on our loan! I would highly recommend him to anyone trying to navigate this process.

  Dave and his team were great helping us buy our first home with a VA Loan. We had an unpleasant experience with a previous VA Lender, but Tidewater fixed everything and it was smooth sailing.

  I’m not always one to take the time to write reviews—but let me just say, David Demmer is amazing! I will be recommending him to everyone I know. Buying your first home is incredibly stressful and confusing, and he was so helpful! Not only did he get my pre approval VERY quickly (literally texted him on a Friday and he had it before the end of the weekend—I looked at my dream home Monday and was able to put my offer in on a Tuesday) He answered every single question I had, every step of the way. He sent me a list of things to help the whole process go smoothly to avoid any issues once closing time came. I also love that Tidewater has a user friendly site that you set up an account on that allows you to upload all your documents, etc, very easily. He was always on top of things! If you are like me and didn’t know the first thing about buying a home—GO ASK DAVID DEMMER! :)

  David was amazing and patient. He worked with me from the very beginning and was very supportive. David helped in getting prepared with improving credit scores, saving money, and through out the entire process. David answered all my questions and concerns even as I was constantly emailing during busy times. It was a great experience all around!

  David and his staff were fabulous! They assisted me with purchasing my first home. They led me through each step of the process and were great at communicating what was needed. They responded quickly to emails and telephone calls and got me closed on time! In general they provided excellent, knowledgeable, and friendly service!
