  THE WORST. I paid my loan paymant on time every month. Recently paid my balance off in full and contacted them to close my account . The following month I received a bill in the amount of 2.30$ 200.30$ was deducted from my bank account. I contacted them multiple times to get a refund of my over payment only to be told they never received that money. After emailing them a copy of the check showing they deposited it, they continued to argue with me. I have since contacted my bank and the BBB to report this fraud.

  Unfortunately, I signed my life away on this loan from Tidewater. With their extremely high interest rates, you're better off not doing business with them... Trying to surrender my vehicle to them has been very difficult to say the least. I was in contact with a supervisor, Hope but she's MIA all of a sudden. Their customer service department is the worst to deal with. Can't talk to a supervisor when asked to speak to one. I can't wait to cut ties with this company. Too many hassles, look elsewhere for a loan.

  This company was the worst credit company i ever had intire my life. I had 1750$ credit through the Ashley furniture store in NoVA. I tried to make payement over the phone they do not recieve and charge me late fee And i decided to make payment automatically from account which was taken out each month. Guess what i was recieving higher balance each month after my payments. Then what happened was they block my account that i can track. I spoke to several different agencies non of them helpful So sad I wish i knew it before i agreed with this company. I will not recommend this company never ever and will no do deal with them 😫🐣😫💩

  This company is the worst. They consistently call you when you are late, and when you try to make a payment towards your account, the website NEVER works. If I could give them no stars....I would

  I opened a line of credit with them last year and was given 0 interest for a year with terrible credit which I didn't think they would do. Thankfully they did and I got a much needed upgrade on my mattress. At any rate I have had a great experience with them, they have been available and explained everything every time I call. They have even been flexible with payment dates and adjusting payments. Like most credit lines what's important is to always over pay and always pay on time. If you plan to pay only a minimum payment do not get this line a credit, if you have an intro offer similar to what I had and do not have it paid off by the time the intro rate is over say a yr or 2 yrs they will charge you all that interest which is something like 26% based on your credit score. That's a lot of money! Know what your signing up for and ask questions.

  Company does not own up to their mistakes! I would give them A zero star review, but that is not an option. The first payment I made was returned because of a glitch in their system. At least that was what I was told. As soon as I was told about it, I made two payments. I was told it would not be held against me. Well I was wrong! I went to apply for an increase and was turned down, because of it. I researched it when I got home, then remembered the reason. I called them, I explained the situation to them. Supposedly there are no notes about it. I was told every phone call was recorded, but I could not have a copy of the recording(the supervisor).

  I do agree with many. Trey Bragg yup they pulled that with me also. Making it impossible to pay online. I also hate that they call a million times while I am at work. This has happened even after I made my payment and they want every single detail of my life except blood work and first born. They know its me ... they called me !!! Ten dollar fee to pay them by phone or with credit card or bank? Wow !!! Obviously they do not care about customer service !!! or Satisfaction !!! These reviews would scare anyone off !!! They help you get a Loan... Yes and that's it !!!

  I just received a notification from Transunion that they flagged my account as 30 days past due. I don't know how this is possible, as I contacted them and asked for a payoff quote. I then paid off the entire account with one of their representatives. Funny thing is that I paid this off at then end of 2018 and now they are saying it is 30 days past due. I STRONGLY recommend NOT working with this company! I have filed a dispute with Transunion and I will file a complaint with the BBB.

  I have dealt with over 10 Credit Card companies and by far this has been the worst! After speaking with customer service it was proven to me that its it's pointless to even have a customer service department! I was told absolutely nothing can be done about the intrest rate that was supposed to start for the following month showing up on my bill a month earlier. This will be the last time I will ever use Tidewater. I will stick to Sychrony, Chase, Discover, Wells Fargo, BB&T, American Express, and Citi!

  Thanks to Tidewater Finance they gave me a chance to get a vehicle where everyone else made promises they actually delivered on what they say..... I highly recommend this company to those were or are in bankruptcy they get you on the road again.
