Very inconvenient as they have no way to pay online /over the phone unless you pay a fee. They care nothing about customer service. I mean look at the building. Is it even up to code?? Beware of this bank.......And they call themselves a credit union😠

angela henson1I have been with NAE since 1995. I would say it was average in the 90s (I didn't have any other financial institution experience to compare it to.) Fast forward fo 2021....they are SOOOOO behind. It is pure laziness on my part that I haven't left, yet. Every time I have to actually go to the credit union, I swear to myself that I'm done and I'm switching to a different bank. Today I was in the drive thru (Indian River Rd) for 50 minutes! They had both lanes open, but the one I was in I swear was being run by the DMV sloth from the movie Zootopia. I am not even exaggerating when I say 4 cars (in the other lane) completed their business before 1 car in my lane finished. That happened a couple times. Several years ago, they made another drive thru lane behind the 7-11 that is NEVER used. Such a waste.

Geoffrey Gurr1This bank is complete trash. Keep in mind there are only 2-3 banks in Virginia!? This bank is so old school I'm surprised they're not out of business yet. You'll be waiting forever inside to get stuff done. Everyone works so slow! They don't even have an app for your banking!!!

Avery Valen1I have never had a good experience banking here. I have one loan and can’t wait to refinance with another company. When I was behind they hounded me even with an explanation and payment arrangement. Most companies are also trying to help those who are having issues with COVID but not this bank. Need an extension now too bad it’s not the beginning of Covid only just the peak in the area we live in. Not accommodating for someone who has been very diligent about making payments until I got sick with COVID and really don’t care about anything but numbers. Wouldn’t recommend. I bank with Langley and they have been really understanding. I can not wait to move my loan to Langley.

Like Dat1By far one of the worst banks I ever worked with. They don’t listen to you, they also give you a lot of attitude when you ask them to do something. Ms Ava is the worst at customer service I don’t even know how she has a job there. She is the most rudest disgusting attitude having person I ever met. She reminds me of the witch from the Middle East mole an all. She’s a very demonic person!!!! So If i were you I would stay away from this bank.

Mike M1I’d give them half a star if I could, but I can’t so I guess one will do. Anyhow, this is an amazing bank, if you are stuck 40 years in the past. They do not offer most of the convenient features provided by most banks today and have inconvenienced me countless times by overdrafting my account because they hold transactions forever. Held my check for a hurricane, however, the bills aren’t holding. Smh. I’d say more but not worth my time. Do NOT bank here unless you don’t care who handles your money. Switching as soon as my direct deposit authorization goes through to my next bank (Chime).

Terran Smith1So slow! It’s like walking back into the 70’s!! The woman are rude, slow and if I didn’t have to use this bank, I wouldn’t. There is supposed to be a guy who is supposed to take Temperatures at the door. Who the heck knows where he was. Not one other employee stepped up to help out. They don’t deserve one start.

yvonne nicholson1My son and I had the worst experience with SO CALLED LOAN OFFICER CINDY MANLEY AT NAE ON INDIAN RIVER ROAD IN CHESAPEAKE on 6/15/20. She is totally INCOMPETENT! Small loan request was on 6/11/20 WITH COLLATERAL! We have NEVER experienced such INCOMPETENCE with a bank or CU. Four hours of wasted time on 6/15/20.(we arrived at 1230pm). She doesn't even deserve 1 star! UNBELIEVABLE!

Bob Reilly1Paid off my loan, been waiting on title for over a month. Do not and I mean do not ever deal with this company. They are unprofessional and not accountable for their inaction to deliver a service "WE" pay for as clients. Well...past client, I pray and hope people really stay away from this business. I even reported them to the BBB.
