      We had just moved to the area and researched several banking options. We concluded that The Summit would best meet our needs. While in the office, we were pleasantly suprised by the attention we received from Chris throughout the sign up process.       I first signed up for summit 9 years ago when I got my first job. They have taken care of me and my banking needs ever since. The Monroe branch is fantastic, I receive constant quick and quality service there. I would recommend summit to anyone looking for a bank that treats people well.

      This review is pointed at their central payment processing system, and does not reflect on this particular branch. We were attracted by their low mortgage refinance rates, but they do not permit ACH payment to your mortgage from an outside account. One must perform an external transfer to a SFCU checking/savings account, then transfer internally to the loan. This is really antiquated and needs to be an updated for people living in 2020. EDIT 1: I called the number with extension provided below, which does not lead to a human being, just another menu of options. I've spent 15 minutes on hold, so I'm going to try the email provided below and hope to speak with a human soon. EDIT 2: Really digging themselves into a hole here. I tried the email provided below at 2:30pm EDT and the Mailer Daemon rejected my message: Address not found Your message wasn't delivered to [email protected] because the address couldn't be found, or is unable to receive mail.
