  Anyone who crosses paths with James Suarez and Ron Anavim knows they are unethical and unprofessional. Especially James who resorts to harassment, incessant phone calls and bullying people. He violates every ethical protocol as an agent, and every principle of decency. After we listed with another agent, James would not stop harassing us to give him the listing. James told us over and over-- practically ordering us--to cancel our listing with our agent. Recently friends of ours also listed their home at OneWest Bluff community. After the listing was executed, James Suarez would NOT stop harassing them with nonstop calls simply because they preferred to work with a different (more reputable) agent. We experienced the same thing. I am highly suspicious of the positive reviews because they sound like advertisements written by James. Be careful. This guy is a snake and everything about him is snake-like.

  Rachel Rocconi is a DREAM to work with. So grateful to have had the opportunity to work with her on buying my first home. She is extremely knowledgeable and answered my questions before I asked them (caution: possibly a mind reader).   The Fineman Suarez team (represented by James Suarez and Brandon Arlington) helped us sell our home, even when we didn't know we were ready to sell! Brandon was representing a buyer that was struggling to find the right home in our neighborhood. Brandon used his knowledge of the neighborhood to find our home, track us down and convince us to entertain an offer. James acted as our representation and he and Brandon coordinated a creative deal that met the needs of both us as the Sellers, and the Buyers. This deal would not have happened without the professionalism, pro-activeness, ingenuity and flexibility of James and Brandon. The Fineman Suarez in the background were also very efficient and professional and coordinated a painless (and very fast) transaction. Thank you.   James and his team assisted me in the purchase of my first home, which was a condo in Marina Del Rey. From beginning to end, the search and transaction went as smooth as could be. James was very knowledgeable about the area and the building I was interested in. He was also able to present our offer and convince the seller to accept it prior to the first weekend of the listing and the first open house on the condo. When it came to escrow, everything was handled professionally and in a timely manner; we closed without any extensions needed. Overall, it was a pleasure working with James and we highly recommend him to anyone that is in the market of buying a home.

  I am the Broker/Owner of a real estate company in a different area than that worked by the Fineman Suarez Real Estate Team. I was tasked with finding the best agent to help my brother-in-law and sister-in-law sell their home in Playa Del Rey. Based on my own research, I referred them to James Suarez. James lived up to his billing. As someone who has been in residential sales for over 30 years myself, I do not hesitate to say that James is one of the most professional agents I have ever encountered. He and his team are truly a "well-oiled machine". I was kept updated throughout the transaction and followed it very closely. I saw first hand what a skillful job James and his team did in marketing the property for sale, in negotiating the transaction and seeing in through escrow. James is a credit to a profession that often has inexperienced and incompetent agents mishandling what for many people is their most important financial asset.   James and his team were consummate professionals throughout our home buying process and made a normally stressful transaction as smooth and pain free as possible. Armed with an encyclopedic knowledge of the LA housing market, James answered every one of our questions and allayed our concerns. He also asked many questions of his own to ensure that we ultimately landed in the right house in the right neighborhood at the right price. That last point is particularly critical given how hyper competitive the LA housing market is, and James was nothing short of masterful at the negotiating table. He came armed with all the necessary data to ensure that we settled on a very fair price with the sellers. During the escrow phase of the transaction his team's excellent service continued, as we went through multiple inspections and several last minute snafus that in many other instances would've potentially wrecked a deal. In our case, it actually ended up saving us more money on the purchase price- again thanks to James. I think one measure of what makes a real estate professional truly "best in class" is what happens after the transaction when everyone has gotten paid. This is where Fineman Suarez proved themselves to us yet again. Throughout the move process they checked in regularly. When some furniture was damaged they were at the ready with a great repair guy. When we needed a good dog walker, same thing. Handy man? They had us covered. We have been in PDR now for over a year and members of the team STILL check in to make sure we are settling in well. Sure this is good business, but this is also a team who genuinely cares about their clients and has gone WAY above and beyond what is necessary. Case in point - at a client appreciation event recently one of the team members asked how our dog was doing...by name! That's a different level of service in my book. I'm not one to write reviews, but in reflecting on our experience with Fineman Suarez, I felt compelled to let others know just how outstanding they are. I certainly know that if/when the time comes for us to sell our house there is only one team we will call. If you are looking to buy or sell in the LA area I wholeheartedly suggest you do the same.

From the beginning of our relationship to the completion of the successful sale of our home, the team provided a degree of service and professional expertise that we have never seen in many years of real estate activity.   James Suarez is not trustworthy. We had a terrible experience. He is unethical and does whatever is necessary to earn a buck, whether or not its right or wrong. There is no one in our neighborhood that has had a good experience with this guy. He is litigious and acts like a bully. When we worked with a new agent, we heard many stories about him that let us know we had dodged a bullet.
