  My husband and I are first time home buyers, and we were very nervous at first with the beginning process. We found the First Colony Mortgage group to be very helpful! They were very supportive and good at explaining everything in detail. They were all very polite and worked very hard on our loan process. We had to jump through many hoops, but they worked through it all and always kept smiles on their faces! If we had to go through it all over again with them we would!   The Staples Group has managed three mortgages in the past 2 years for me. Their level of service is absolutely excellent. After two years and numerous contacts with potential mortgage companies, Becky was the only broker who figured out why I was having difficulty securing a HARP and managed to close that loan.

  Honestly, this company is amazing. We worked with Nan, and she really did an A+ job. She and her team handled every single thing that was thrown at us, from speedy prequalification to the final minutes. They really went the extra mile to ensure everything ran as smoothly as possible, and communicated with us so well to explain all the angles of the process.   The Staples Group at First Colony Mortgage was amazing to work with. As first time buyers, I had a ton of questions and concerns, and Becky and her team were so helpful and patient in making sure that all my questions were answered, and that I felt comfortable with the entire house buying process. They were detailed as well, and walked me through every step, and kept me up to date with emails, and phones calls, even text messages when needed. I cannot imagine that there is a better company/team to work with when buying a house. I will be contacting them in the future for my next home, and referring them to everyone I know.
