Terri Pratt1Still waiting for a closing date after FOUR months!! Never imagined this process would take so long with this company... I do not suggest using them for anything if you want to get it done promptly. My brother is buying a house from me with these people and he's been tossed around to a few different lenders. This is RIDICULOUSNESS!!!

Jaime Cano5I have never experienced such great customer service. All Servion Group representatives were great, from the application process through closing, and the post- closing follow-ups. Thanks. I am glad to be one of your clients.
Response from the ownerWow, thank you so much, Jamie! We are so happy to hear about this! It was a pleasure helping you, and once again, thank you for the kind words, we really appreciate it!

Christian Rodacker2It got the job done but I was bounced around between 5 people and never knew who to talk to. The people I worked with also didn't share information with me or tell me the things I needed to do until it was the day of, giving me no time to gather all information and documents. Overall my experience was frustrating.

Amy Strand1At first was excited to work with this company. Our app went through....took two weeks to be asked for further documentation. Was told we might be preapproved and that the automated underwriting program used didn't see any problems but that wasn't guaranteed an approval. The loan officer sent paperwork via email. I called to let her know the names were spelled wrong on the documents she sent us, sent in the documents hoping it was just a simple fix. Still haven't heard back. Was told we'd know if we were approved within a day after sending in all paperwork...went with another company and knew within 3 days that we were approved (without having to turn in all of our documentation and the names were spelled correctly and the guy called us back/texted us back within an hour or two if we had questions).
Response from the ownerGood morning Amy. Thank you for your review. I'm really sorry that we didn't give you a great experience. To help us improve, could you let me know who you worked with using this link: https://cucompanies.com/contact-us-blog

Ian2My mortgage is through CU Companies. I went to my credit union to escape Wells Fargo, because their site and services were terrible. Little did I know, CU Companies has a website from the late 80s. Here are some of the "what the hell were you thinking" points: - A machine-readable captcha is required for every log in - I cannot schedule a one-time payment to my mortgage while having automatic payments active - Navigating the site is slow and tedious when trying to decipher what each category actually means - To make a payment one must choose the SIXTH of eight top-bar menu options labeled "Payment Options" - Notifications for scheduled payments come from what appears to be a valid user address from the company, instead of a more common "noreply" type address I was excited when the site went down claiming a full redesign and promising greatness, only to see that the mortgage management portion of the website remained untouched. Hire someone who has more than twelve minutes of professional experience in UX and web design please. This isn't difficult. Even Wells Fargo manages to do it in a barely acceptable manner. Be better than them. On the plus side, my rate is reasonable I guess, but that has little to do with the company.
Response from the ownerHello Ian, thank you for your review. We'll take your feedback into consideration for future improvements to our servicing technology.

Cameron Duncan1Worst experience I have ever had with any company period. The lack of communication was staggering. It was next to impossible to get in touch with anyone for information about our loan. Missed our closing date twice, costing us more money and heartache. Too many issues to list. I do NOT recommend getting a mortgage with this company.
Response from the ownerHello Cameron, thank you for giving us a chance to earn your business. It sounds like we served you poorly. I apologize for that.

Debbie Zanger5Was very easy to work with. We need to close on a certain day due to out of town sellers. They made sure it happened. Good company.
Response from the ownerThanks for leaving a review, Debbie! Congratulations on your home!

kiley hughes4My only issue was that I felt a little out of the loop at times, and that I needed to reach out to them for any updates on my loan, being a first time hone buyer I really didnt know the ins and outside of the process. Aside from that everything was great, timely responses and very helpful.
Response from the ownerHi Kiley, thank you for the kind words and for the very helpful feedback. Proactive communication is something we really value, and we apologize that we didn't do enough of it. But we are thrilled that you had a good experience otherwise, and it was truly a pleasure to help you get into your first home. We hope you love it!
