  I would NOT recommend the Mortgage Company. I got a home mortgage through them back in July of 2020 and during initial pre approval I had asked about bi weekly payment options. Steve Stelzman my loan officer said it was no problem and that they offered them with their mortgages. I found a house, and during the settlement time, I had asked his assistant, Amanda Wilhelm, about setting up bi weekly payments for my mortgage and she said she wasn't sure they offered that. This feature was a big deal for me and I had 3 other mortgage pre approvals I could have gone with, so I asked her to confirm with her supervisor if there was any chance that my mortgage may not have that option, otherwise I would go elsewhere for my mortgage. The Mortgage Company frequently sells their mortgages very soon after settlement, so I wanted to make sure any of the buyers of my mortgage offered bi weekly payments. After talking with Steve Stelzman he had assured me that all the parties they sell mortgages to offer bi weekly payments. Now a few months later, I think you see where this is going. I never got notice of who my mortgage was sent to so I had to call and ask because I was only given 2 payment coupons for Sept and Oct. Apparently my loan was to be serviced by Dovenmeuhle Mortgage. When I called to set up a bi weekly payment schedule they said they didn't offer bi weekly payments. I was pretty upset, I called Steve Stelzman to see if anything could be done but I got Amanda Wilhelm his assistant. She had never heard of Dovenmeuhle. She asked for me number to talk to Steve and get back to me but I never heard back from them, even after trying to contact them again. So they either a. lied to me about the bi weekly payments being an option or b. were incompetant and didn't know. Either way, I would NOT recommend them especially if there was a mortgage option that may or may not be supported by whomever they sell their mortgage to.
