  This team has helped us with 6 transactions over the years including new purchases and re-fi's. They're the only team I trust to handle our mortgage needs. They do SUCH a great job of making sure things go smoothly, and they always deliver exactly what was discussed. No surprises, and as little stress as possible. Just out of curiosity I looked at Rocket Mortgage last month before our most recent re-fi transaction with Mark's Cornerstone team, and found the fees (points and such) to be tons higher than what Mark's team was able to provide. I strongly advise you to call Mark and go over options before you decide on some impersonal app or website where you're just a number.

  Mark Townsend and his team are truly a great team to work with. He is incredibly transparent, will take the time to explain any questions, and most importantly to us, always responds to email/text/phone promptly. They truly make you feel like you are their only client. Throughout the entire process, we were always kept aware and there was never a surprise or gotcha, it was the least stressful aspect of the home buying process! We've had 2 experiences with buying a home. One with a big national bank, and one with Mark's team. We will ALWAYS choose Mark going forward.

  This was the first time I’ve ever done a refinance, so I needed lots of guidance. Mark set an appointment to go over all my options. He provided a visual graph to show how the math worked out on each option which I really appreciate. I had checked with my current home lender before finding Mark and they offered nothing more than a 5 minute phone call. Mark and his team made the closing process as smooth as possible and were there anytime I needed to ask a question. I definitely recommend Cornerstone!

  The entire Mark Townsend team was incredible responsive and helpful throughout the home loan process. It is a journey that I would recommend taking with people you can trust and whose company you enjoy because it can be long and stressful. Mark spend a great deal of time with us outside of normal business hours to explain the different loan products and the pricing options for each using software that allowed us to see the real numbers as they were changing in different scenarios.

  In this market its essential to have a lender that you can trust. I was lucky enough to get referred to Mark Townsend when I first moved to Austin 10 years ago. Since then Ive purchased and refinanced several times and every time I call the Mark Townsend team, they know who I am and are quick to assist. Its simple-I'm in a better house, with a better rate because of the Mark Townsend team.
